It’s ok
Spent a little extra hoping for a better tool. My conversion kit works better. The drive wheel is too hard and doesn’t have enough grip when I apply the right force it spins out stalling the belt.

Great tool, hard to find belts
This tool has been great, Ive been putting jt through the ringers for the last couple weeks Ive had it. My only qualm is that proper sized belts seem to be pretty hard to find. If you’re just using it to knock down welds, or rough areas then it’s fine, but if you’re prepping it to be polished you need to not skip any of the incremental grits to take out the scratches. If belts were a little easier to find I’d give this thing 5 stars all day

Excellent tool to have if you do any roll work.
Purchased this item for work. I'm in charge of maintenance at a titanium processing facility. We do a lot of various shaft work. This tool has made life so much better for the maintenance team when they have to rebuild anything around the facility. They used to use emory cloth like shoe shine boys. Not anymore. This cut down rebuild times tremendously. Not sure how we lived without it. Well built. More than enough power to get any job done. We've also found other uses on the production side of the operation too.

Excellent!
Great sander for the money. I had 10 pieces of 4" OD 304 hot rolled tubing to finish 5 feet long. I set each one up in my lathe (to maintain finish around circumference), Within about 20 minutes each (and a few belts, 60 up to 400) I was able to to go from mill scale to a 16 RMS finish. Great bang for the buck! I highly recommend giving this product a shot!

BlueRock tube polisher broken only 3rd tube polished
Although the price is attractive, here's an honest assessment. First off it is incredibly loud. Secondly I have very little use on mine and it broke internally. There's a little gear machined on the end of the armature that's worn so it started slipping or not turning. The entire armature and gearbox had to be replaced. When it happened I immediately stopped took the head apart and discovered the intermediate shaft (where it goes from straight to 90) was sloppy because of the 6200vv bearing. This was only the third stick of tube I've polished the mill scale off of with the brown scotchbrite belts. BlueRock customer service was supportive with getting parts out quickly. The armature, gearbox, and spare set of brushes were $128. They expedited shipping and have offered to cover the parts. With replacement parts it is still a loud tool, but it is slightly quieter. I believe the bearing failure was the root cause of trouble here. There was no slop in the new one. If you own one of these, check that bearing often.

Good product, but poor marketing as far as the abrasive choices,
The product is good quality, I'm using it to prep and polish stainless tubing, the sand paper selection as far as the grit is concerned is to corse, there should be a section to choose the grit you need, so I have 25 pieces of 60 grit and 25 of 80 grit which I will never use,if we were able to choose I would have 50 pieces of 180 grit, 25 pieces of 400 grit and 25 of the 800 grit, I think that's poor marketing and not giving the consumers a choice,
