Pilot Flask
This is a NATO pilot flask. I purchased this one to replace the one I had for the past 30 years, which is getting slightly worn. They are almost identical. The only difference is that this new one does not have the patent number on the front. I travel a lot and I want to carry something light and does not take up too much space in my backpack or carry-on. Double walled vacuum water bottles are often heavy in weight and take up too much space because of their shapes. This flask is light and can fit in tight spaces. The precise reasons this design was adopted for pilots to carry it in their vests.

Very sturdy for secure methanol storage and transport, 515 ml capacity
I own 13 of these flasks. Very sturdy and a very convenient shape for carrying inside a coat in very cold weather. I use these flasks for storing and transporting methanol (denatured alcohol) for my alcohol cooking burners used when camping. The only complaint that I have is that the original caps for all the flasks utilize a flimsy cardboard and foil seal that will eventually begin leaking. I have solved that by using the pop open lids from ordinary rubbing alcohol and peroxide bottles. Those lids never leak and allow me to squirt a small and precise stream of methanol when filling my alcohol burners to heat my meals. (see photo of the replacement caps I am using). Any sturdy 20mm plastic cap will work as well and be much less likely to leak than the original caps. It is an easy fix to the leaking cap problem and has worked perfectly over the past several years for me and my friends. Too bad these otherwise perfect flasks need a backyard fix like this to bring them to perfection as methanol fuel containers. Other users may not experience this problem at all depending on the liquids they are storing in these flasks. Overall I am very pleased and have not found anything better for this purpose during the last 20 years. The flaskes hold about 17 oz of methanol (515 ml of water). Thanks for a great product and very fast delivery.

It's just a cheap plastic bottle, but it's useful.
Bottom line: It's useful because of its shape, as it fits in a pocket (a large one) but it's still just a cheap plastic bottle that costs less than $1 to make. It should at least have a lock to prevent losing the cap. Well, it's been useful to me, but I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it again.

Light Weight Great Quality
We were looking for a titanium flask for hiking and came across this pilot flask. It’s super light at 2 oz., carries 16 oz. of liquid which more than double of most, very durable thick material, no leaks so far, packs well, and made in the USA. Perfect for hiking and the outdoors.

Perfect for Birdie Juice
Our golf group (4) is composed of descent golfers. Therefore, we make quite a few birdies every round. I previously purchased a 12 oz flask. We kept emptying it before we even got to the back nine. So this 16 oz flask looked like the best option. So far very happy with it. One of the things I like most is you don't need a funnel to fill the flask like I did with the smaller one. I have no idea how long it will last, but so far it's great. Still doesn't last an entire round but now I'm making one of the other guys bring one as well.
