Great item if you have the FireAngel connect Pro smoke alarms. Simple to install! Monitors your smoke alarms remotely. Great if you have rental or holiday let. Advises if alarm is triggered, if alarm is removed from housing, if there is a fault, low battery, can run test also. Great item!!

FireAngel alarms seem excellent and have interconnectivity which is important to me. However, the connectivity did not work with their Carbon Monoxide alarm - so that is now stand-alone. The old FireAngel alarms that I took down had not lasted the 10 years that they were meant to (nearer 7, I think), and these old alarms that I took down continued to bleep every minute in my garage! I rang the help centre and they had no sensible advice. Removing the main battery at the back is possible, I discover, but the flashing continues silently. There should be a way of disarming the system completely (e.g. a link across the back which could be drilled/cut apart).

Great fire alarm. We have one in every room and they are all connected so if one goes off, they all do. We also purchased the hub which alert your phone if a fire alarm goes off which gives you some piece at mind when out and about or on holiday. The alarm isn’t too sensitive, we have one in our kitchen and doesn’t go off when cooking.

Don't. Just don't. If I could give 0 stars I would. Over priced and terrable product. The worst money I've spent in the last 10 years.Hard to pair alarms to each other and the gateway. 10 year batteries last less than 3 years.When the gateway "worked" the alarms would go off randomly for 5-15 minutes for days. Couldn't silence them without removing from the ceiling.More difficult to setup than any other smart home system. For devices to be added you have to put them in learning mode and then press the learn button on the gateway within 5 seconds. Why?The app is very poor. Can't remove devices directly. To remove an alarm, you have to go to the device physically and rerun the learning process. To remove a gateway you have to contact FireAngel customer support via email. This takes days.Two of the devices have failed batteries with in 3 years. Fortunately that let us know by going off at 4am on both occasions.Gateway losses connection to the internet randomly throughout the day.Took weeks of phone calls (if they answer the phone) and cyclic email conversations to get replacement devices.

It is very useful as it connects all of the other alarms, detectors, etc. I definitely recommend it

A good reliable and well built alarm, build quality feels great and was easy to setup.Unfortunately I felt calling this a "smart" alarm wasn't really justified! While the app works, can easily connect and view all your devices and get a notification if an alarm.......that's pretty much its only features.It lacks even some basic features I would of liked to see in a "smart" smoke alarm for example the ability to silence any alarms from the app. Or even the ability to trigger a alarm test from the app, these basic features are non existent.So while I do like the alarms, what really lets it down is the feature lacking and also poorly maintained app. If you want a very basic alarm system and don't plan to use any smart features then a great system! If you were looking for more of the smart features from the app or even sharing with friends & family then this is not the system for you.
