Easy fix for microwave with life left in it
Easy replacement for one of the three microwave door switches. Videos easy to find with web search. Found this by the markings on original switch.Works fine on install but time will tell about durability. The bottom No switch was the one that failed but for the price I would say replace them all and hope something major dies before you have to mess with these again.

Great bang for the buck
After researching my issue via you tube, I found this item and vendor to be the best rated and bang for the buck for what I needed to fix my microwave. Took about 20 minutes to review and walk through the repair to completion. I've been in the trades all my life so it was pretty easy for me even though not having messed with a microwave repair before. Ease and time involved will depend on your skill level, but I'm sure most anyone can do it. Recommended item

Fixed our Microwave
This door switch was a perfect match for our Maytag microwave and fixed the problem of it still running even if the door was open. It saved us the cost of a technician service call and we have a spare for the next time it goes out.

Worked Like a Charm
I used this to replace the NO (Normally Open) switch (referred to as "Switch - Primary and Secondary" on GE parts lists) on my GE Monogram microwave model ZEB1226SH1SS.Symptoms were the microwave control panel would flicker when the door was opened. Pushing or tapping on the grill over the microwave light would make the panel come back on. Tested both door switches with a multimeter and found the NO switch had variable continuity when the switch was depressed.In the pictures, the red switch is the original switch, orange switch is the new switch. I chose this switch because it had a higher total wattage rating than the original:New:AC: 16A x 125VDC: 0.6A x 125VOld:AC: not specifiedDC: 0.3A x 24V = 7.2WIn addition the ratings on this switch match the ratings on the replacement switches available at all online GE parts stores I could find, though those switches were $22.Make sure you choose a switch with the same or higher wattage rating if you're replacing one.
