Simple and proper tool
Great tool, compared to the other style that are half moon shape, this is nice because it covers the hole completely, making it so you don't have to worry about dropping bolts inside.

This tool is better than any other one out there it’s completely enclosed and makes it impossible to drop a bolt into the timing cover.

This is better than the half moon design
This tool is a cheaper version of OTC. The bolts are not held captive so this will be more a challenge to line them up so make sure you have a good view of the front so you can line the bolts up.Remember once the bolts are in the front then use the cover bolts to secure the tool to the timing cover which you may need to turn the crank pulley.Once you get all that snug, you got to find the rest of the the water pump mess.If you do not use this tool the balance shaft could come out of time and you will have issues.

Buena herramienta, pero cuidado con la compatibilidad
La herramienta de retención de piñón de bomba de agua DPTOOL parece de buena calidad, pero en mi caso no encajó con la precisión que esperaba. Sentí que no tenía la medida exacta para el motor y que podría causar daño si no se usa con mucho cuidado.Recomiendo verificar muy bien la compatibilidad con el modelo antes de usarla. Funciona, pero no es tan precisa como debería.
