They're Back!
As a long term fan or Roxette, I was really disappointed at their last album "Have A Nice Day", but I'm delighted that this latest offering is pure Roxette; doing what they do the best - good honest pop/rock songs. Perhaps not quite up to "Joyride" but a fine album never the less. My favourite track is "Jefferson" but "Real Sugar" and "Milk And Toast And Honey" are also excellent tracks. If you like Roxette, you'll love this album.

The End?
Roxettes' last album to date and their 7th in total is a decent slice of pop music. This album seems to have a little bit of their previous 6 albums blended in to make their most sophisticated album yet.Best track is for me 'Milk And Toast And Honey'and the worst probably 'Try'Well worth a listen.....

Roxette perfectioned their new sound
With this album they've definately perfectioned the new sound showed on their previous Have A Nice Day album."Room Service" shows more mature on the band, and good pop songs which are not ruined with cheesy sounds.Track Listings1. Real Sugar - the opening track of the album: Is not my favourite but it has a great chorus!2. Centre of the Heart - the best song on the album. The duo between Per Gessle & Marie Fredriksson fits perfectly.3. Milk and Toast and Honey - Absolutely sweet! The great ballad of the album.4. Jefferson - A good pop song I don't listen too much.5. Little Girl - cute ballad, about our inner child.6. Looking for Jane - Great pop by Roxette. This is what they really know about: make good pop songs!7. Bringing Me Down to My Knees - mid-tempo hit. I hated it the first months, but it really grew on me, and now is one of my CD's favourites.8. Make My Head Go Pop - I love this one! Is their first mix of pop, rock and dance that worked excellent.9. Try (Just a Little Bit Harder) - I don't listen to it.10. Fool - I don't listen to it11. It Takes You No Time to Get Here - I don't listen to it.12. My World, My Love, My Life - ABsolute perfection, typical Roxette ballad to close the album (So Far Away: Pearls Of Passion/Listen To Your Heart: Look Sharp!/Perfect Day: Joyride/Queen Of Rain: Tourism/Go To Sleep: Crash! Boom! Bang!/Beautiful Things: Have A Nice Day). This album is really good, I didn't give it 5 stars because there are a couple of songs that I don't listen to. I don't know why, I just have to give them a chance! Bad me!

Yet another fab album from the fab swedish duo
Barring Gessle's uncomplicated lyrics, pop albums dont get better than this. 'Centre of the Heart' is a cool pop tune with their trademark guitars missing. Marie can still sing beautifully in the ballad 'Milk and Toast and Honey'. 'Looking for Jane' is very Abba-esque. 'Real Sugar' is a typical Roxette tune with the guitars and some keyboards. My fav from the album is without doubt 'Fool' which has to be one of Roxette's most original and catchiest tune to date. 'Make my Head go Pop' is a dance-rock fun tune similar in vain to Have a Nice Day's 'Stars'. Sound production is slick, musical arrangements spot-on and very much Roxette. Strings, guitars, synthesizers, Per, Marie, melody are all here. Why they are a forgotten band in the UK/USA is a mystery to me but this is yet another proof that they are truly alive and kicking.
