I’ve been using this cat litter for years now and it has consistently been one of the best products I buy for my home. With three cats, odor control is incredibly important, and this litter does an amazing job keeping the litter box smelling fresh much longer than I would expect. It clumps well, which makes scooping quick and easy, and it really helps keep the rest of the litter clean between changes. One of my favorite things is having it delivered on a schedule—never running out of litter is such a huge convenience when you have multiple cats. Even with frequent use from all three of my cats, it holds up really well and keeps odors under control. After trying several brands over the years, this is the one I keep coming back to. Reliable, effective, and incredibly convenient. Highly recommend for multi-cat households!

This is one of the best unscented litters I’ve used. It clumps quickly and tightly, which makes scooping easy and keeps the box clean. Even though it’s unscented, it does a great job controlling odors without being overpowering. The 2-pack is convenient and lasts a long time. Great quality and definitely worth it!

I have had many cats over the years and tried about every litter on the market from crystals to pine to standard clays and clumping. I mean EVERY type of litter and brand. This is my favorite so far! Pros: clumps well with less “gooey” clumps that tend to form when my cat goes near the edge of the box, which is often. He’s really big, weighs about 18-19 lbs, and he’s a big water drinker. Always has been, it’s not a health issue. So he goes a lot. Not little clumps you see in the ads, more like the size of a baseball. This litter does a way better job of absorbing it than most others. There is literally no smell, no perfume cover up, no cloying dust smell, no feces smell (if he decides to cover it up that day), and absolutely no urine odor. I use a large stainless steel pan (another game changer as it doesn’t hold any odors like plastic does) due to his size and I put the entire box in when I start fresh. I do scoop daily and replenish a bit once a week. I can get 3-4 weeks out of 2 boxes of litter before I dump and clean the pan to start fresh again. The only con is the price but then again, the pros are worth a little extra cost to me. It makes life easier, my nose happier, and my cat uses it, unlike some others he hated (crystals were not a hit for either of us). I’m on subscription for this one now. Get it. You won’t regret it.

This litter is great for little tracking on their feet and controlling odor, as well as clumping… but there is in INSANE amount of dust when I scoop it. I am worried I’m breathing too much in, and my cats possibly also. Seriously - looks like a smoke machine turned on lol

We were taking on the responsibility of a cat I had long anticipated, I spent a few weeks reading reviews on cat litter. I narrowed it down to this and the Arm and Hammer platinum. I ordered a small box of this and had planned on ordering a small box of the other brand in review. Well once I put this cat litter in the litter box, I never even thought of the other. I have patiently awaited over a month to write my review to see if there was ever any sort of odor from the litter box. This is with me cleaning it twice a day, sometimes once if it wasn’t very soiled. There is NO SMELL, EVER!! I have a cat who is food sensitive and prone to UTI’s, so when I went looking for the best on the market it also had to be unscented. I will say this litter is slightly scented, but we have had no issues thus far. It does track. It tracks everywhere, but is mostly dust free. I have not noticed dust anywhere, only litter that has been tracked by four little feet. Nothing a handheld vacuum or litter tracking mat can’t help control. If you want something that is truly not going to smell, this is it. That was the most important factor for me personally. Even though I do clean twice a day for the most part, I would go as far as saying if there were an absolutely have to case that you were unable to clean the litter box for 3-4 days, I still do not think it would have an odor.

This cat litter is the only thing that keeps their closet from smelling like cat pee. I have 2 cats and 2 large litter boxes. I scoop them both every 2-3 days because it’s just part of my routine. It’s INCREDIBLY good at trapping odor. It is a little dusty when you pour it but oh well. It’s clumps nicely and stays clumped. Also so important to get unscented. Will never try a fragranced litter.

I’ve tried so many different litters over the years, and this is hands down the best one I’ve ever used! My cat loves it so much that I used to buy it in bulk at Sam’s. When they were out of stock for a long time, I had to switch to other brands. I didn’t even think to check Amazon at first, big mistake! Not long after switching, my cat started peeing next to the litter box. At first I was confused, but then I realized she must really want her litter back. I found it on Amazon, overnighted it, completely cleaned out the litter box, and refilled it. Instantly, the problem stopped. She was perfectly fine again. That’s how much she loves this litter if she doesn’t have it, she’ll literally protest! I also didn’t realize just how amazing it was at deodorizing until I tried other brands. The odor with other litters was SO strong. I never noticed that with this one. For an unscented litter, you’d think it wouldn’t control odor that well, but wow it’s incredible. It honestly works better than the heavily fragranced litters. Please never discontinue this product. My cat (and I) would be devastated!

Best cat litter ever! It does have a bit of dust, but it completely traps all odors. I’m really picky about smells, and this one is perfect - there’s no smell at all. My cat likes it too!

EDIT: price has gone up significantly within the three times I’ve purchased, from $40 (2021) to $60. I’ll need to find an alternative soon. I’ve tried 4 different types of cat litter since getting my cat, including pretty litter. Here’s what I love about this litter: Dust free ODOUR CONTROL - I live in a small, one bedroom apartment and my litter is in one of those “hidden” litter boxes that is disguised as a side table in the corner of my apartment. You can imagine how important it is for me to stay on top of the cat litter for one and two for the litter to control odour. Previously, I’d empty the box every day and STILL there would be a scent of urine & fake scent coming from the corner. With Fresh Step Advanced, no odour at all with my regular cleaning. I will never go back!

Compre esta arena porque tenia buenos reviwes, estaba lista para que el olor de los gatos se filtrara de mas en la casa porque es pequeña, pero no, realmente solo huele cuando hacen, pero despues de un rato, deja de oler, claro que debe limpiarse diario. La absorción del orin es excelente se hace como una piedra grande, pero las heces si son muy liquidas - mi gata es muy grande ya - no las absorbe mucho y es necesario dejar que se dejen un rato en lo que se les pega la arena bien, de lo contrario se embarra en la pala. Las normales, si el gato las cubre bien, es muy facil de recojer. Es un poco polvosa eso si, no lo suelta pero si tu gato tira mucho la arena cuando sale o cuando rasca mejor compra un tapete. No se les queda en sus patitas, y tampoco les deja olor en el pelo.
