Lovely idea, works well.Once you know the materials used you can do this yourself for a couple of pound.£20+ is a Joke this is a £4.99 product at best.

Or lanterns, this is a more environmentally friendly option, that holds the same amount of meaning (at least to me). I use the flying wish paper to write messages to my dad, who passed away. It's very cathartic.They work very well. I haven't had one to do what it's supposed to do.

These are great for birthdays, New Years, and any special occasion! We used some for Thanksgiving, and at New Years. They're also really fun for kids (provided they're lit by parents of course...) : )

I have been using these with my students in high school. Please note: to get the paper to "fly" there must be no draft at all, even a/c. Even a draft under a door from a school hallway may prevent the paper from rising. The paper must burn equally around the edge or it will not create a heat bubble that will allow the paper to rise. Please note: I have tried the tea-bags and have had little success getting more than a few inches. These papers, with no draft, will get about 4 feet high. I have had one or two go higher. Also note: the tissue-like wish papers are dark RED not like the picture.

I keep ordering these because they are so much fun to share with friends new and old.

I used this flying wish paper toward my mothers memorial service. We needed something non-harmful for the environment as we were doing it outside, and many other release items (butterflies, doves, lanterns) are banned in our area. This works well and provides the same form of release we wanted. Be careful to read the instructions carefully and practice once for yourself prior to instructing a larger group to use them.
