Bought this to try to fix a leak on some trim on a truck. Wound up using it for different things such as the soul of a pair of black shoes came loose and seems to work for time and then with reapplication works again. This brand is highly regarded in the industry. I'm sure that I'll get what you said of it. Seems to go a long way.

I used this on this for a valve cover gasket and it worked alright. The tube basically blew out the back end when squeezing so be careful. But other than that it was fast easy and dried quick, which is what I needed. It’s as easy to remove as most siliocine caulkin. And it stuck pretty good. You get a decent amount per tube. More than you could ever need for 1-3 jobs. And the color was what I needed, but if you’re using this like you should, the color should matter as it’ll be hidden for the most part. Over all, it’s good but I which the actual tube it’s held in was More durable, no reason it should bust open just from squeezing it. But the size is good, you get a lot of it.

Excellent RTV, and after use, when you put the cap on and put it on the shelf, it will still be good in 6 months. I will never buy Permatex again.

Great product, but have to use it in a few months. Tried to use some a few months after popping the seal, and the whole tube was solid.
