Luvfun USB Mains Charger-5

Great build quality, so fabulous value for money given you get 2 dual chargers. The actual product does not have the big logo on the back of the charger so looks much cleaner. Up to now chargers are performing as expected. The blue led is not overly bright which I prefer as can be use in a bedside socket and not keep me awake. Very good product.

Good charges and not expensive

I found this product quite flimsy in the sense that it would come apart randomly. My partner went to turn the plug off one evening and had an electrical shock as the cover had come away from the rest, exposing two metal prongs still in the socket.The plug has come apart numerous times.Not trustworthy.

Bought this a few months ago, plugged in and it charged as expected but when unplugged the top part of the plug lifts off leaving two live metal points exposed... that 220v of mains electricity unprotected and totally unsafe

Will not meet UK safety standards. Outside cover just fell off leaving 240 volt connector live to outside world. When snapped back over cover it still unsnapped leaving it dangerous. Had to use super glue to fix it.

As D.E.Saint has pointed out in a recent review these chargers are really potentially very dangerous. Once the pins are in the wall it is very easy for a child to twist the main body of the charger a mere 20° or thereabouts and have two shiny metal contacts carrying 230-250 volts. If Amazon had any morals they would pull this off their site immediately.I have the older version of this charger and it displays a CE mark, whether it is genuine I don't know, but I know that this charger really could end up killing someone...

Yes. This was an excellent choice allowing me to charge my phone and tablet at the same time.
