Recommended for Omnivores/Meat-eaters, believe it or not...
"Oh no, it's another one of those grass eating hippie products that leaves you frail and emaciated!"... is how some people react when they see the word "vegan" on a product. Face it, there is a stigma related to the word vegan, and it's unfounded. Being a vegan is hard discipline (not the urge to resist meat or animal based products, but rather to eat correctly and get everything you need.) Some "vegans" become unhealthy because they just try to stop eating meat and animal-based products without doing the proper research and eating the right things. The reason I put vegans in quotes is because they are NOT vegans, but they are the ones that give the stigma to the word. I am not a vegan, I am a vegetarian due to dietary restriction, but I do appreciate the work and effort that goes into getting a proper diet as a vegan. For those of you that are vegans or nutritional experts, you don't need me to tell you that this product is a no-brainer, you know nutrition far better than I do. Apparently there have been studies that have shown these multivitamins are not absorbed by the body (meaning excrete them out). What I take away from this is, they are too hard to digest, and that which does, they are chemicals that your body has no idea what to do with it. I remember when I was taking them, I could miss an entire two weeks and not feel any different. This multivitamin on the other hand, while it under-goes some kind of process to get it in pill form, come from plants, fruit, and veggie sources. Things that you naturally eat, your body can digest, and knows how to use them efficiently (kind of encoded in our DNA after thousands of years). After I started these vitamins I can feel a difference. My body feels better, I feel better mentally, and I seemingly get sick less often. The only draw-back that I've found with this product is it uses vitamin D2 as opposed to D3 (which is derived from non-vegan sources). D3 is more efficiently used than D2 by the body (from what I've read). I just started recently supplementing D3 to improve on my crummy mood, and I can honestly say my mood has improved. I admit this could totally be a placebo effect, but if you start taking this, or generally feel like you're in a rut, try D3.... everybody is different, it might work, it might not. I invite you to research these claims I've made yourself before purchasing.Summary (tl;dr): Vegans, Vegetarians, and Omnivores alike will benefit from taking this product. Yes, it costs slightly more than your Centrum/One-a-day's and generic equivalents, but it's worth it to see if what I'm claiming is true at least once. If it is, you'll effectively find out that you've spending 4-8 bucks on vitamins that probably do very little for you. If no difference, you have my sincerest apology, and you might as well go back to your regular ones.

I have been using them awhile and will continue to buy. Very complete ingredients. Overall Best.
I believe, overall (ingredients, price, quality), that these are the best. I will continue to buy them as I have been. They give a great mix of minerals, vitamins, nutrients, etc.. Complete. Very complete.

I'm pleased with this as my go-to daily vitamin that covers most of my bases. I'm a vegan, so I appreciate that a) The ingredients are all vegan - no gelatin or anything to worry about, and b) It seems to formulated with vegans in mind, including relevant things like b12. It would work just fine for non vegans too of course. The only thing I was a little confused about was the relatively low calcium content in this compared to the other vitamins etc, which seem to be like 100% + of the RDI. After a bit of digging though, I found out studies have suggested that supplenting/over-supplementing calcium specifically has been linked to heart issues. My description of this is super vague, and I'm not saying it's true or not, I really don't know. Do your own research. But my point is, I'm assuming they MAY have left it out for that reason, so that folks can make their own choice regarding that and it won't stop those people from buying this supplement. If you do still want to supplement calcium, this same brand - DEVA, offers a separate calcium-magnesium supplement that I took for awhile. The only other thing I can think is that being that a lot of non vegans actually already get enough or too much calcium, especially from less healthy animal sources, they may have figured if those people decided to take this supplement they would be getting far too much calcium. I don't know either of those things for a fact, but just throwing out some thoughts in case anyone looking at the supplement facts for this product was wondering the same thing I was.Anyway, I've been taking this quite a long time now, and I can't say I feel markedly better, but like I said it's been a long time so I don't really remember how I felt before I started taking it, and if that was any different to how I do now haha. Also it doesn't help that I'm terrible at taking it every day. I know I don't eat as well as I should, so for my own peace of mind, especially at such a reasonable price, and knowing that I definitely need b12 anyway, I just feel better taking it regardless, eases my mind a little bit. The pills are slightly on the larger side but I still find them tolerable and they aren't hard to get down, even though I sometimes am not the best with swallowing pills.
