Have not used the blade enough to judge the steel but seems to hold it edge so far. Handle and quality are good. The leather sheath is tip not notch as well as the sharpening stone it came with. Also came with an identical miniature blade blank. Not sure what to do with it. Overall not bad for a Chinese mass produced.

I bought this knife thinking im getting a 28.00 dollar knife so I had very little expectations from it.I've used the knife no less than 15 times in the first 2 or 3 days to cut absolutely everything I needed to food prep. I'm not a chef just a home cook and I got this knife for BBQ cuts and figured the cheap price when I ruin it no big deal. I've smoked 6 batches of ribs and 3 chickens in the few weeks I've owned this and I wasn't easy on the knife at all. Came with a edge I shaved my arm with and with all the bone I've hit cutting up the meats it still shaves my arm. I will be buying more for sure.

I really enjoy this knife. So much so in fact, I bred it with another and had a baby one. I have yet to actually sharpen this knife, and it still cuts fine. For context, I purchased this knife Jan 31st of 2020. I use it every time I cook to cut up my meats, veggies, and fruits. I do notice that after all these months, it's edge is starting to dull. I have to sharpen my actual chef knife regularly for it to cut like this thing did for months. I am scared to sharpen it though, because it's so thick...

This a heavy knife better suited for butchering and possibly making kindling. The only issue is that the wood handle could fit more tightly against the metal tang and sealed with epoxy to keep residues from getting in there and causing a cleanliness issue. I can fix this myself, but it would have been five stars if it came that way. I might just make a better handle as one of the wood scales making up the handle is warped a bit too much. It is still a nice knife overall.

Very sturdy, solid knife. I like the fact that it’s one piece of steel from the blade through the handle. It’s very well balanced, and the height adds a bit of leverage enabling you to chop vegetables/meat with ease and speed. I also love the finish of the handle. This is a lot of value for the money. People are paying twice as much on other sites for the same knife. EXTREMELY sharp out of the box. Even still, I sharpened it slightly before I used it for the first time...I think it might cut through a lightsaber!

1st this I did with this knife was shave a part of my arm, and I was blown away when it actually shaved the hair off my arm.... now I have to shave my arm.In all seriousness, the knife is an excellent value for the money, and it's very sturdy and well balance. Also has a good heft to it.I'd buy it again in a heart beat.

As soon as i picked up the package i was impressed by the weight , knife handle is well suited for large hands and contoured to prevent slippage . Blade is tapered in thickness making it easier to insert point in vegetables like rutabaga or cabbage and the progressive thickness then acts as a wedge to ease cutting . This was a gift to my son who is a part-time chef and he is very happy with it .

Really happy with this knife. Did a bunch of research. You can spend $100 or more on this style knife . This knife is awesome Heavy and sturdy. Great looking. Fantastic leather case. Great for chopping veggies or meats or pretty much anything. Wanted this style knife. This one is great. Highly recommend
