Perfect on 2005 325Xi Front Outer CV Joints
You can knock the outer CV joint off the axle without pulling the axle out of the differential...provided you are NOT changing the inner shaft seals (which is recommended). If you catch the boot tear before the CV joint gets dirty you may even be able to skip cleaning the CV joint. These are factory quality parts; my OEM BMW factory axles were GKN. HOWEVER it is crazy that factory outer boots lasted only 66,000 miles. My 1996 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 has similar front axles...20 years and over 200,000 trouble free miles. We need to get Toyota to make BMW parts...especially anything rubber.

The supplied grease is excellent. Will update if anything changes
Worked on a 2004 BMW 324XI. Seems OK except for the inboard snap ring which was too big to get installed back into the transfer case. I had to use the old snap ring. The supplied grease is excellent. Will update if anything changes.

Everything you need included
This is a nice kit, will do both outer CV joints. No issues with install, everything I needed was here. Boots seem to be higher quality than some others I've used. 2003 BMW 325Xi.
