DUMEE Metal Full Size Bed Frame Platform with Vintage Headboard and Footboard Sturdy Premium Steel Slat Support No Box Spring Needed, Textured Black

I bought this for the spare room, where my 6' tall son sleeps when he visits. I love the look of the bed, but I also love the very supportive base, which spared me having to buy a box spring, to put under the mattress I already had. That spared me a $60.+ purchase, and made the bed a more normal height (ie, no ladder needed to get into this bed - Yay!). It's a solid frame, and base, and it took a while to build, but it wasn't complicated. I used a power screwdriver, and that made pretty short work of it. (Just don't tighten everything until done, as some wiggle room helps to get things lined up, while in-process.) It looks great with the bed made up. It's not manly, but the dark color, and bars eliminates any worry that it's too girly, either. You could easily use manly, or feminine linens, to suit either gender, and I like that. (I'm hoping once lock-down is over, he may find a wife who would like it, too. : ) The review asked if it was maneuverable, and I'd say that's not super easy on carpet, if you're alone. The wildly better support of the inner base frame requires there be several legs in the middle, which a standard bed frame doesn't use. Those extra legs settled into my very plush carpet, and make it difficult to move alone - especially with the mattress on it. Hubby helps, and it's more than doable with an extra set of hands. If it were on solid flooring, I'm sure it would move easily. (Though, how often do you need to move the bed?) * It's easy to make the bed. Yay! The open bars make accessing the bottom to tuck in the linens much easier. * There were no burrs, or scratches on mine, despite the delivery guy just dumping the box at the end of the driveway. * It's heavy, so we had to get a dolly to drag it up into the garage, then take the pieces upstairs, a few at a time. I love it, and would highly recommend it, if you like the looks.

Great bed, easy to assemble. Missing 1 screw, but we ordered 2 beds and the other one came with an extra so we got lucky. The slats are not connected, they drop down into place. One slat was too long to fit into the bed by an inch and a half, we have a saw so we were able to cut it to size. The 2nd bed had all the correct size slats. If you don't have any tools like a saw that can cut metal, you'd be pretty irritated. We left the slat out to begin with since we assembled this at night. Which didn't affect the mattress slumping or anything, we did put it at the end of the bed were my son's feet would go so there wasn't as much weight. The next day we shortened the slat and put it into place. We've had them for a couple weeks now, no squeaking, very sturdy. My only complaint is that the support bar is at the edge of the bed so you stub your toe on them....a lot! Ha I think I'm going to wrap them in a pool noodle or something. Wish they were farther under the bed or even in the center. Other than that which is not the end of the world these are great beds for a great value.

Pros Assembly directions were fairly easy to follow All photos - no written instructions. They included extra piece of hardware in each bag as well as extra tools. Very thoughtful! All pieces were present and labeled correctly. Frame went together easily and is very sturdy. It doesn’t make noise or move around easily. For the price, it looks really nice! I was really, really pleased with the overall design. We purchased it for an almost three year old and I expect it to hold up well. Cons: You get what you pay for. We liked this frame because of the price point. We were pleasantly surprised with it, however, there were a few issues. One of the welds on the leg support is misplaced - too low - and doesn’t line up to (or support) anything. (See photos) One of the pieces looked like it had been previously used/hammered on - possibly returned and repacked. All other pieces were new. There were several deep gashes in the headboard frame. Luckily they are on the back and unseen. They could be touched up but why should you have to do this? They look to have occurred during packaging not shipping. One major (to me) con; the mattress “guide” is a two pointed piece that keeps the mattress from sliding. No one in their right mind with children would think this is a safe design! There is enough space between it for arms or feet (think broken limbs) to get caught in a fall. Not to mention the two dull points! We are removing it from the frame for obvious reasons. This needs to be rethought and I would not be surprised to see it recalled. We specifically picked this design for its rounded edges and no sharp points. Overall, I would definitely purchase again and would recommend.

Ordered this bed frame to use in our guest room and I'm very pleased with the product for the price point. The package arrived quickly, assembly was straightforward, and it looks nice. The only minor issue was one piece of the bed frame arrived bent and unfortunately I didn't realize until the bed was nearly built. I reached out to the company who responded immediately and shipped me a new piece. All in all I'm happy!

This bedframe looks great assembled and is very sturdy. I really like this style as it does not require a box spring and does not have the wooden planks that lie across horizontally that may move or break over time. The package itself is moderately heavy and was somewhat difficult to move up the stairs without help. There are several individual pieces to assemble but the instructions are pretty straightforward and not too frustrating. It look about 1.5 hours for me to assemble by myself. Overall I'm very happy with this product, especially for the price.

I ordered this for my first apartment out of college! I have a full sized bed so I was looking for something with a headboard that wouldn't dominate the space. The footboard is such a cute bonus although you cant really see it because there isn't enough room for me to tuck my comforter in. It took me about two hours (with breaks) to assemble by myself. The added instructions are great and I had no troubles. So far my boyfriend and I have spent a few nights on it. Seems sturdy, not creaky at all. Also a great height for under the bed storage! All in all a great frame, would totally purchase again.

The bed is very cute and works well for a children’s room. I actually purchased two so my kids would have matching beds. It was simple to put together and probably too about half an hour to complete. After inspecting the bed, I was a little disappointed to find rust showing through the matte black. It’s primarily on the legs and isn’t super noticeable, but it does show. It also came with scuff marks that don’t wipe off and look a little like chalk marks. Both of these issues can be seen in the attached pictures. We are using the bed without a box spring. We didn’t think it would be necessary to have for small children. My child is 25lbs and plopped down on his bed and bent one of the support bars! He didn’t get a running start or jump on it. He just sat down a little harder than usual. My guess is it was just one weak bar. I was able to bend it back into shape. One downfall for this bed is that it is incredibly light. If you don’t want a bed that children can push around a room, this isn’t the bed for you. I am overall disappointed with the overall construction and lack of care that was put into boxing it up. It’s cute and put together, so it’s going to be staying in my house, but I doubt it’ll last my kids into their teenage years.

Purchased for my daughter. As the reviews state it does come in what seems like a million pieces but it it very sturdy and there is absolutely no metal clinging together which I love! The Amazon mattress we purchased fits like a glove. The white is not a bright white and has a matte finish so keep that in mind if you want white white. My only complaint is the hardware is silver. I would much rather it match the bed. But with all of that said I’m very happy with it and will be purchasing another for my son.
