Carter Enterprises Rx1 Release with Buckle, Black

I started shooting with a Tru-Fire Hardcore release and the Carter Rx1 is in a whole different league. Since I switched I've seen my groups get smaller and my technique improve.With the Tru-fire releases the release point is in the middle of the trigger pull and I started to memorize where it will shoot and anticipate my shot, leading to more movement of the bow. The Rx1 however has a hard trigger break point like a rifle. The tension is adjustable and I have found I like it quite light. There is no movement in the trigger until you put enough tension in it and then it snaps crisply, releasing cleanly and continuing to surprise me to where I cannot anticipate the exact release moment. It is also easier to shoot back tension style as well. The wrist strap is quite comfortable but not quite as padded as the Hardcore. My Hardcore is now my backup release and the Rx1 is my daily shooter now.

This really is an incredible release! Extremely crisp and it is coustumizabke with the different trigger springs. I like the Scott strap but it is falling a part a little bit so I'm not as happy with it as I am the release. I have been using this release with my hoyt charger for almost a year and it's still as crisp as the day I bought it! Spend the extra money and buy a release once. Worth every penny! And I would absolutely recommend this to a friend! Oh and super fast shipping!

I really like the feel of this release, shoots great.....at targets. This release has a very loud click when you put tension on the hook. If any of you folks hunt whitetail, don’t plan on them hanging around for the draw. I read forums and contacted Carter with my problem and they said this is normal, it’s the hook pulling away from the magnet..seriously folks, it’s so bad I could feel the vibration at the bow grip. Really Carter? Come on. But, if your a target shooter exclusively, I would say it’s worth it. Second star is for amazons return policy.

it's the second Carter rx1 that I've owned, i let my son barrow the old one and never got it back!. I also own the hardcore release, I use that one as a backup. rx1 release has never let me down. Good Ralease...

Excellent release. Very smooth and the additional tension springs makes it easy to be customized to your shooting style. This is an awesome release for hunting.

carter makes very good releases. This is not my only one, chocolate addiction, SWEET! wish I had Carter 20 years ago. be back for more!

without the question carter makes the best releases in archery.i dident believe it till I used it, now I dont shoot with any brand but Carter.
