A fine addition to the man cave
The first Iron Man movie is undoubtedly my favorite in the series. I’ve seen that movie more times than I can recall. So when I saw this, I knew I had to have it. The quality is very good, considering the price. The size seems accurate to the movie (I wouldn’t know for sure, I’m not Tony Stark). The light is very nice and not overly bright, so this can be a nice decor piece without distracting from anything else. Furthermore, I didn’t even notice it had a tap feature to turn on/off. The fact that this comes in a brown box that looks like the brown paper that Pepper used in the movie makes me so hyped. Just that little note at the top adds to the experience of receiving this reactor. Highly recommend to my fellow nerds!

Looks awesome!
Amazing product. USB cord so you have to have a box to plug it into or that usb extension cord. Not a long cord so if you want it lit up have an extension cord ready for sure. Good qaulity, easy setup and YouTube video tutorial on a QR CODE. Definitely worth it for a collectors item!

Thoroughly enjoyed!
I don't ever write amazon reviews but I just had to for this arc reactor. I grew up with Marvel and Iron man and lately I've been collecting cool trinkets from the movies. The fact that the box says "From Pepper" is completely true, I was actually confused looking at the package on my porch originally. The reactor comes in just a few pieces that simply need to be put together, no screws or hardware required. The light up feature is super cool! I was pleasantly surprised by the pulsating effect and the slight color inconsistencies that make it look real. Props to the seller on this one and I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves Marvel. Two thumbs up!

This was a gift for my son, Ironman fan from Marvel, the assembly resemble the reactor from the movie. The accuracy of the reactor is top notch its like getting a gift from pepper pots. Love it!

Top quality product!
I was expecting this item to be cool but, still noticeably cheap looking up close. Like being able to tell most of it was 3D printed. However, that was not the case and I was pleasantly surprised to see great workmanship with glass case, stand, the cable coming from back, copper working, and the lighting. Great purchase!!!

Cool & Beautiful design, but be careful with power supply!
The media could not be loaded. As a "tony stark/ Iron Man fan", as well as a collector of various sci-fi, fantasy and comic book memorabilia, I was initially very excited to get this working, light-up 'Arc Reactor'. The Pros: it is a pretty beautifully designed (if a little fragile) display piece. It is displayed in a clear plexiglass cube case atop a plastic base. The device itself is composed of mostly plastics with some metal parts, along with interior electronics. You must assemble the 'stand/cradle' that the reactor rests in, and although there are no actual hard copy 'paper' assembly instructions included--it's pretty simple to figure out. (Plus, there are videos on YouTube as well as links included for assembly tutorials). There are essentially TWO cables coming out of the device: one is a 'dummy non-functional' cable that is for display purposes only--meant to replicate the 'connector' that connects into Stark's chest--and is meant to just drape down along the side of the device inside the display box. The other is the actual power cable, that is the main power line, (a very short cord), that must be threaded through a hollow support tube in the base. This, is then, attached to another longer usb-extender power cable (included). That cable, in turn, must be connected to either a USB power (outlet plug) adapter (not included) or some other USB power source. Assembly must be done very carefully as to avoid accidently pulling/breaking the power cable away from the unit. Once assembled, the reactor light can be turned on by giving the clear box a 'firm tap'. Tap again, and the light goes from a solid glow to a 'pulsating glow'. A third 'tap', and the device turns back off.Cons: this device is VERY TEMPERAMENTAL in regards to it's "power source"! I received the device and just used a USB power adapter I already had laying around my home, to plug it into an extension cord. The device turned on, momentarily, then immediately stopped functioning! I returned the device for an exchange--with the same results! These things are made by a company in China with different voltage ratings for different devices, which have to be taken into consideration depending on which part of the world you live in-- (and it's electric power grid infrastructure). I contacted the company directly--explained the issue and was informed that although the included USB cable usually would act as a type of 'resistor' to help regulate various power level fluctuations...there was still a danger of the unit being 'burned out' if the power input source was too high! They recommended that you ONLY USE a USB power (outlet plug) adapter with a rating: "5 volts/1A" to connect to it's USB cable! (See attached pics) This information WAS NOT included in the packaging with the device, nor was it listed in the Amazon description! It would have made things so much easier and cut down on so much frustration if this little bit of important information had been made clear before purchase.Anyway...the company was nice enough to send me a replacement reactor. It took almost 2 weeks coming from China...but at least it was FREE, so I didn't feel like I had completely lost all the money I spent on this.Once I received the replacement, (and purchased the correct adapter), the device worked fine. However, I found that not all extension cables will work with the device. You just have to test various extension cables if you display this far away from a power source as the included USB cable may not be long enough to reach a wall outlet. I opted for a 3 ft. long 'power strip' (with surge protector) as my set up wasn't close enough to reach my wall outlet with the included USB cable. So far, I haven't had any problems. After seeing all the 'positive' reviews on Amazon from people who had previously purchased this...I wondered if I was doing something wrong...and why I (initially) was having such bad luck with this. Anyway, after all this trial and error...I hope this info will save others from the headaches I went through--as, after all is said and done, this really is a beautiful display piece!
