For the price, there are alot of useful components to this kit. As other reviews have said the instructions are not clear but it is easy to get the hang of it. The plastic components are not super thick but completely acceptable if you are not heavy handed with it and keep the parts moving in the directions intended. The scissors are perfect to fit right into the cutting grooves and the finished little pompoms are adorable. I making pompom garlands and they are coming out really well.

They make really nice Pom poms. The only problem I had was figuring out how to use them. I went on YouTube and found a video. It was very easy.

Works as described. Did come apart on first use. It is designed to come apart but I do think the arms are designed to stay on the pins.

I Have been making pom poms for my sugar gliders for quite a few years and I really should have bought this style of pom pom maker before. There are several sizes in this kit that allow me to make a variety of different sized poms. This style of pom maker is so much easier to use then some of the others and i am able to make twice as many as I could before. There is also no yarn that wont work. this means that you can make pom poms out of whatever you want. I in fact made a few out of strips of paper.

Pompom Looms: They're... fine. They technically work, but they come apart so easily that they're quite frustrating to use. If this is your first set of this type of tool and money is tight, it's okay for the price. You'll get the hang of it and can upgrade to a more solid brand later if you decide you like this type of tool. Just be prepared to get fiddly and probably a bit frustrated.Scissors: Not very sharp at all but small enough to get the cuts started. I had to swap to regular scissors after that to complete the pompom.Needles: Didn't use.

These little things are magic allowing you to make several sizes of perfect pom poms. Very straight forward to use. I had a family member ask to borrow ours and we gifted her with this set instead.

While it had directions with it - used YouTube to truly understand. Worked great. Helpful tips on YouTube as well. Ought to use with a kids craft and I think children will be able to create pompous with this handy tool.

Item is very cheap and fell apart as soon as I tried it. Another pom pom one I used wouldn't go together and I wrapped yarn. Total waste of my money.
