STAR BRITEE-Z On E-Z Off Boat Bottom Hull Cleaner, 32 oz

Wow, my boat was in the lake for 11 months, the pressure washer wasn’t doing it. This stuff wiped it right off, it’s amazing.

We have an 18' Seadoo Challenger boat that accumulated lake stains on the hull. Tried to pressure wash whatever the brown stuff was with zero success. Read a recommendation about using this and gave it a try. I added about 1/2 of the EZ ON/EZ off bottle to a spare spray bottle, like you use for window cleaner. I then sprayed it on 1/4 of the hull, waited five minutes, spray some on a brush with a 12" handle, rubbed to sprayed area, and rinsed. All the brown lake reside vanished. I t took me less than 30 minutes to remove the lake residue that a 2100 psi pressure washer could not. I was amazed by how easy it was and only used 1/2 the $16 bottle. (I also used a paper mask to make sure I did not breath it)

I didn’t think my very old, very dirty boat would clean up but it did! This was very easy to use following the directions and wearing hand and eye protection.

Walmart used to sell this product. They switched to a biodegradable alternative. I tried it but found that while it worked ok there was still a fair amount of scrubbing.I ordered EZ ON/OFF through Amazon. This stuff is simply the best at the kind of cleaning I am doing. This is to remove marine growth. I have a dark, spidery, organic growth across the bottom of my boat. It was moored in a lake for the summer. In fact, it the boat is 20 years old and I don't believe the bottom has ever been cleaned. I put this product in a spray bottle and heavily dose the area I am working on. After 5 to 8 minutes or so I wipe it off. Really incredible. My pressure washer didn't leave a dent and this stuff makes it wipe off.With that said, it doesn't seem to clean stains. For instance, I can still see the faint brownish water line... Compared to what was there this is nothing. But I don't think this is the cleaner for that.One last thing. This is an acid. You MUST wear gloves. I got it on my arms like a knucklehead and, yes, surprise! It burns like heck. I would urge you to heed the warnings. That may scare you off. But for me, I needed something heavy duty and this is it.

This is a five star product when it comes to cleaning the stains that occur when a boat sits in the water. It cleans very well and with little effort. I rated it four stars because of the danger in using the product. It is a fairly strong acid and care must be taken to not let it come in contact with your skin, eyes and some metals. The recommended method to apply this product is with a brush, but you have to work gently to prevent the liquid from splattering from the bristles. I used a pressure washer to clean the heavy growth from the bottom before using EZ-ON EZ-OFF. I let the boat dry off, then used a brush to wet the bottom with the cleaner, and very gently scrub the stains away. It doesn't take much effort at all and scrub may be too strong of a term for the process. Within an hour, my 25 ft boat bottom looked like new. I'm impressed with how well it works especially as compared to Slimy Grimy and some other bottom cleaners.

I am not one to take time to do reviews, but this product worked so well it is worthy of a few minutes of my time. I purchased a jet ski 2 years ago that had been sitting at a marina in a river for 2 summers and it had very thick muddy river grime on the bottom of the hull. I scrubbed it with a brush using every kind of cleaner I could imagine and got a little off in places after using a lot of elbow grease scrubbing. I purchased this as a last resort and I put it in a spray bottle and sprayed it on the bottom and within seconds the river grime came right off on its own. I used a hose and rinsed the rest off and it looks good as knew. I did not even have to scrub it. This is the best $16 I have ever spent. Highly recommended.

This product is the best. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. It is the only cleaner able to take the "crud" off the bottom and sides of my boat after I have docked it for the summer. Be careful to follow all instructions though. Wear latex gloves and make sure the bucket or spray container is well away from the hose and water you use to rinse it off. Protect your eyes too. This is an acid product. Remove your boat cover too if you don't want any holes in it. 32 Ounces is enough for me to clean the sides, stern and the outboard. I can't get to the bottom of the hull but using the boat helps to remove some of it the following year. You can't see it there anyway.

use appropriate hand and face coverings this stuff is strong. Works great read the instructions and warnings it cut right thru the slime build up.
