Let's start with the positive the bed is extremely well made and has a very strong structure I am very very happy with it.However, to say the assembly manual that comes with it is a joke would be being extremely kind to whoever wrote it and if you get this bedframe, I wouldn't even bother reading it, because it will only confuse you more.I have an engineering background yet this bed frame still took me just over 3 hours to assemble, OK now I know where everything goes if I had to do another one, I could probably have it done within 30 to 45 minutes, and I could have had this first one done within an hour if the instruction manual was worth anything.Put simply if you happen to be the type of person who struggles to put things together such as them IKEA type shelves and cupboards you know the type, then I would stay away from this frame until they have upgraded the assembly manual or you could find yourself standing on the edge of a cliff wanting to jump by the time you figure it out, which is a shame because once together this is a bloody good bed frame.However, if you still want one and I can understand why I would suggest you do this.#1 Open every box and take every piece out#2 Then place every piece that looks the same in separate piles for instance you get a selection of nuts and bolts make sure that all separated#3 Also make sure all frame parts that are the same size are put in a separate pile#4 Then the only thing I can suggest is to look at the extremely poor photographs of the bed in the manual and try your hardest to figure out where everything goes.I wish you luck

It arrived in 3 boxes so was easy to move around the house. The instructions were pictorial, reasonably easy to follow but small. The single bed took 2 people 2 hours to put together from unpacking to having bed covers on ready to use. We had our own mattress ready to go on, there isn't one provided. The frame seems quite sturdy but time will tell how it lasts. There is no hard base inside the otterman base but there is a fabric base held in place at the bottom with velcro all around. Once you put things inside the bed base for storage they are lying on the fabric on the floor so the bed will be very difficult to move. We bought it as a spare bed for guests so I'm expecting to last ok.

This is cheap, and easy to put together (took me 1.5hours, on my own, as someone who had only put together flat pack IKEA shelving - also I am 5ft tall and not very strong). Does not require power tools (there are feet under the bed that needs to be put on, you can use a screwdriver - but it is probably easier with a drill). You CANNOT ignore these feet, as the height would be wrong and the bed wouldn't shut properly.The frame is sturdy, and the pistons works amazingly. It is stiff at the beginning, but it will stay down with a few attempts + weight of the mattress.Lots of storage under the bed. This is directly on the floor, with a sheet that comes with the bed. So I guess you can put anything/any weight because it is directly on the floor.HOWEVER - the slats are flimsy.I would suggest getting this bed frame, but replacing all the slats - should be easy to get thicker replacement slats and middle+end caps that fit.The slats that come with the bed are 53mm wide, with the end caps having 35mm between the slots into the frame. This is pretty standard. You can just replace these with slats that are 63mm wide + slat holders that fit this, with 35mm between the holes.Hope this helps!

Took me and hubby 2 hours to build the bed as no written instructions but once together it looks good and my daughter loves it , tools that come with bed were useless so used our own

Worst customer service!Took me hours to unpack and start installation (instructions suck), several quality issues found you don’t expect from new bed (couple of scratches on leather, faded paint on metal rods).Disregarded and thought I shouldn’t waste my time, to only be stuck when finding that 2 bolts can’t be screwed, as nuts where not threaded!Wasted hours with customer support, escalated, and only solution they can find for me is to return in 2 weeks time, and to waste hours again & effort to disassemble everything and pack (find a way to pack after I obviously threw out all boxes). No replacement for the part or technical support to find a way to make it work is offered.

The bed itself is ok and the storage space underneath is easy enough to get to with the hinge mechanism.Biggest problem is that when set up, moving around on it or sitting on it causes all the frame to squeak and it doesn't sit properly on the brackets so whenever you sit it makes noise too.All in all, could be much better than what it is and not sure it's worth the money. If I knew all this and could go back, I'd pick a different one.

The ottaman bed is convenient for space and to clear up clutter, was surprised with the amount of space available underneath the bed lifting the frame, style of choice colour matches room.

Instructions to assemble could be clearer. However very good product, I am very happy with the purchase.

Tolles Produkt, sehr gute Qualität. Schnelle Lieferung, sehr gut verpackt. Einfache Montage, allerdings fällt dieses Bett kleiner aus als 200cm. Eine 90x190cm Matratze ist erforderlich.
