A very good whole-food vitamin that promotes better focus and concentration
I've been buying Rainbow Light Active Health teen vitamins for my son for a number of years with great results; but I've recently decided to try their Brain and Focus vitamin since my teenage son is under quite a bit of academic stress in college. I prefer to use vitamins for my family which are based on whole-food nutrients. I feel that there are regular updates in the medical field as to what previously unknown nutrients are beneficial to us...and with a whole-food approach, I feel we're more likely to be receiving those benefits even before we know they're needed. These teenager-targeted vitamins are also entirely free of sugar, lactose, wheat, gluten, and yeast and are gentler on the stomach than other vitamins that I've bought. My son can take these on an empty stomach; while the big-name drugstore brands must be taken with food or he else he gets queasy. I have the same situation with stomach tolerance of vitamins so I take the "Women's One" version made by this same company. While 3 tablets is the recommended dosage for these vitamins, it does say that you can adjust the dosage to 1, 2, or 3 based upon your dietary needs. Although the tablets are rather large, my son has no difficulties with them. I can see where their size might be a problem for kids who can't swallow pills easily. I keep hoping that they'll switch to vegetable capsules.Brain and Focus vitamins contain a Brain Support Blend (L-theanine, choline, ginkgo and potent vitamin Bs), that specifically promotes focus, concentration and energy, while also supporting the nervous system. It is intended to help teens feel and perform at their peak level.

He says it gives him a nice boost in the afternoon to help him get through ...
Both my husband and my daughter take these. He says it gives him a nice boost in the afternoon to help him get through the end of his work day. My daughter (13) does not like the size of the pills and says they do nothing for her, but she is a little dramatic! She was starting to struggle in school with being able to focus and her grades were showing it. I noticed she was having trouble getting side tracked and not completing tasks we would give her so after reading a ton of reviews I decided to give this a shot. Her grades have improved and I have noticed a difference at home. So 5 stars from a non-dramatic mother of a teenager!

Great Vitamins
These tablets are the perfect size to swallow. My favorite part is that I can take up to 3 tablets a day, which allows me to adjust my intake based on my bodies reaction, I’ve taken one dose vitamins that make me feel sleepy. Which just means that I’m taking too much. The option to take up to 3 is great! My daily intake is two in the morning on an empty stomach which doesn’t leave me nauseous or make me feel sleepy. I finally feel that I’ve found the right vitamins because I feel energized, focused and healthy again. I noticed that there are some reviews on the size of these vitamins. What it comes down to is that if you are not able or like the sensation of swallowing pills (not that anyone finds pleasure in swallowing a pill) then these are not for you. Look into a powder form to put in a shake or adult gummy bear, which I don’t believe are the best way to get your vitamins but it’s better than not taking vitamins.

Size Debunked
I just received Rainbow Light Brain and Focus Vitamins so I can't vouch for their efficacy. However, a number of reviews complained about their size as if the company was misrepresenting their product. I suppose it depends on your definition of mini, but the Rainbow Light "Mini's" are clearly smaller than their full size counterparts as you can see from the photo. To the left is MyKind's Men's Once Daily and to the right is Rainbow Light's Brain and Focus. Is Rainbow Light justified in calling their vitamins mini? In my opinion, yes. Still, they may be too large for small children or people of small stature.

Good ingredients but impossible to swallow
I bought these vitamins after a lot of research for my 12 year old autistic son. There were so many supplements they recommended that I gave him, too many, so I was pleased that Rainbow Light seemed to have everything he needed. The problem was immediate...he couldn't swallow them. I kept trying different things but nothing. I cut them in pieces...nothing. He would gag with the size AND taste of the pill. So I tried to give them to my daughter and she was even worse. I gave up and took them myself but what about my son? I wish they made them in a gummy or at least a smaller no taste pill.

Great for an extra natural boost
I tried taking these before I tried actual ADD meds, and they helped some but not as much as I needed them to for my college courses. I still take them for the vitamins they contain, mostly the iron which two pills a day helps me get the recommended amount I need. I feel it helps ease me into my morning routine at work before I take my other medications before school. I have always had a sensitive stomach especially to vitamins, and I've had pretty much zero issues with this supplement! It's amazing! I wouldn't recommend for a complete aid for ADD (in my own personal opinion from having very difficult issues with it), but it is great for a little extra energy boost that feels natural.

Easy to swallow, but big
I ordered these vitamins on accident! A friend recommended one of the 'teen' varieties to help with my bad skin (even though I'm in my 30s) and I wasn't paying close enough attention when I ordered. I decided to keep them and take them, anyway. (Who doesn't want brain focus?) The vitamins aren't coated, but they also don't have a bad taste and they don't disintegrate before they are swallowed- which is good. The pills are a bit large imho, but manageable. The other vitamin that I intended to order was a one-a-day, and this is a 3-minipill version. It does make me a bit nervous that the once daily vitamin might be HUGE, but I'm hoping not. The vitamins were easy to take and I felt good while taking them.
