I’m not worried about this case breaking like the cheap plastic one from GoPro did. It takes more time to open and close it because it requires an allen key, but it’s worth it, knowing that it is safe.

Got tired of the GoPro plastic ones breaking so I ordered this one. It was perfect and once the GoPro is inside you don’t even need the screw. If I had to not pick anything I would say The only draw back is the screw head is a little small and could be if it from a little larger thumb knob. But they do provide an Allen key.

The cheap plastic original frame enclosure for my Hero Session cracked recently after many years of careful use and never dropping it. I decided to take a chance on the Nechkitter aluminum frame. It fits my Hero Session and also the Hero 4 and Hero 5 cube-shaped action cameras from GoPro. The fit is precise. The door that is held on with one screw must go in between tiny channels inside the frame, not resting directly on the back. I thought it was a design flaw, but it's not. The door slides into the channels cut into the inside of the opening in the frame. Once it's on, you realize how well it's been machined. It's precise. I'm glad they still make spare parts for this camera.

Very sturdy mount for my GoPro Hero 4, will be using it on a bike mount. Too heavy to use on my backpack for recording videos on the trail. Will probably get a replacement plastic one for that. However satisfied with the purchase.

I broke a knock off camera case and needed a new one. I got this one which is metal and fits perfectly! It's a great buy.
