Flushes Have Returned!!
I've been taking various herbal menopause supplements for a couple of years and it took a few months to get to my optimum levels which leave me with only a couple of flushes per day (I used to have 20 to 30 per day). I didn't want to upset what I already take so I only stopped taking my usual red clover as that it the only ingredient in these ISOVON capsules that I already take. Within a week I was getting several hot flushes each day whereas I'd only been getting one or two, even though I was still taking all the other herbals that I've been taking for two years – black cohosh, sage, Menopace.Red clover is one of the most important and effective supplements to reduce hot flushes. I usually take 4500mg of red clover and these capsules contain 100mg. It might be worth taking these for the Phyto 8PN but, for me, the important red clover element is just not strong enough to be effective.I have attached a photo of the reverse of the box as this, being the most important part of the box's information, has been omitted from the product description.

A natural phytoestrogen, but check for interactions
The dreaded hot flushes.Red clover is one of a few natural remedies for hot flushes. It's a natural form of phytoestrogen which can rebalance estrogen lost during menopause. For every positive trial there seems to be one with no improvement!Do check with your gp or pharmacy if in doubt as it can have potential side effects and interactions with existing medication.I cannot take it sadly, after finding that it does interact with some of my current meds. However I can report that it's a nicely presented bottle, the tablets are easy to swallow caplets, and don't seem to have an aftertaste. They do however smell pretty strong!Currently priced at £23.99I hope you find this review helpful, thanks for reading.

Menopause supplements
I have passed these on to my mum as she has passed the menopause but still gets hot flushes. She has been taking these for several weeks and is 3/4 of her way through the bottle.Unfortunately these haven’t helped her so far. She has read the ingredients list and feels that the red clover (100mg) is not strong enough to keep hot flushes at bay. Her normal dose was over 10.000mg.It is also worth noting that the instructions state that it will take 6 weeks to notice a difference which is longer than the box lasts so again difficult to judge how effective they could be

Results in 6 weeks
These supplements are designed to help menopause symptoms, particularly hot flushes. For around £24 you get a bottle of 42 tablets. The advice says you will notice a difference after 6 weeks - so basically after you have finished the bottle. So I can’t comment on effectiveness yet but will update on results as I feel them. Hopefully it will help as hot flushes are not nice at all.

Not for me sadly.
3.5* rounded up to 4*I am not at all convinced that this supplement does anything for my menopause symptoms, there has been no change at all which is disappointing. Do check the drug interactions before you take this as red clover can't be used with some commonly used medicines. I had high hopes for this supplement but it didn't live up to them.

These haven't reduced symptoms of hot flushes in 2 weeks and counting.
The pot of 42 tablets is more than the month I gave for review of them and less than the time they say is optimal for full relief of symptoms. But half way is where I'm now and there's been no reduction of hot flushes whatsoever and I'd expect to have seen some effects by now, so it's a one star from me for these.
