It's perfect for a hobbit costume, even survived the washing machine post trick or treating (oops). It is a bit small, not overly small or anything. It was the perfect size for my toddlers costume but I do think it could be aa smidge small for an adult, but thts more opinion and style preferences.

Not made well, nor great to look at, so I wouldn’t use it for cosplay. But, I needed it for my kid, and it was perfect for that.

It looked nice to take the kids to the ren fest one time for me, but if you're more serious about your costume, then you might want to look for something a bit higher quality. It looked decent, but definitely looked cheap and not quite like the movies. Not a bad choice for a halloween costume and similar occasions!

Cute and will do the trick for my son’s Halloween costume but it is not a metallic paint. It’s flat green. The pin was broke when I opened the package but I will not be sending back because I don’t have time to wait for another one(glued it back together). I’m not super picky so I’m not really worried about it but if you want better quality you’ll need to pay for it.

The pin we received is like the one shown in the picture. It’s decent quality for dress up or costumes, not super detailed but my daughter was very excited to receive this as a birthday present. The pin on the back is kind of small but we make it work. Good quality for the money.

I found this brooch rather durable, though the paint job is somewhat roughly done.From a comfortable talking distance of two feet away though, you can't really tell that it is a costume prop.It is definitely made of some sort of metal alloy, and has a safety catch on the brooch so the brooch will not accidentally pop open.(Therefore, one does not simply stab themselves with it. ;)...)The price is slightly higher than I would've liked to pay, but well worth it. :)

I ordered this for my elf coslay and though it is fantastic looking, the clasp on the back would not hold my cloak, it kept popping open leaving me to evenly just use a safety pin. Past the clasp, it is super well made, the leaf detail is amazing and I still glad I bought even if the clasp won't hold. I keep it on display and when friends come over they tend to admire it. So, I'll give three stars but bump it to four because I do love everything about this brooch/clasp except the holding pin itself.

Ok, so the pin on the right(that matches the picture for the advertised product) is one that I got a few years ago and already own-it’s worn down hence the green paint coming off because I wore it on my winter coat for so many years. I wanted to replace it with a new one. Since this one had matched the one I owned, I purchased(should have read the reviews first🤦‍♀️).But what I just got is the one on the left in my picture(in package). It’s so far from matching the advertised product it’s laughable! This one is far lighter in weight, much smaller, different color, very thin metal that looks very cheaply made. I’m so disappointed in this product as I was sent something completely different than what I ordered. Will be sending back. Need to do better with advertising what you are actually selling. Rubies, if you don’t have the better quality pin, don’t advertise that you do😑
