32319003 Minta Pull-Down U Kitchen Faucet Chrome

It’s beautiful. I like that the sprayer buttons are hidden on the backside so it looks very clean and streamlined. The way the water flows out is beautiful too - it flows out clear, not white and airy. Perhaps it’s because of this unique flow, but it’s very quiet when the water is flowing out. The water pressure is excellent, definitely better than our previous faucet. I also like that the distance from the faucet to the countertop is only 8 1/2 inches. We had a plumber install it as part of a remodel. LOVE IT!

It’s a classic and better yet it’s grohe !!

Given the experiences others have noted, we inspected the faucet on receipt and while it looked brand new, it had what looked like an oozing or misaligned rubber seal per the picture. Ordered a second unit after returning the first one and this one looked ok. Installation was straightforward although the hookup lines seem thinner than expected. Upon removing our original faucet we discovered that we needed a special tool to remove the nut deep inside the base which of course we didn’t have. Ended up using a Sawzall on the top part to remove it and made a note to myself for later. The new faucet itself seems fine, smooth valve action and quiet laminar flow from the spout. Easy to clean but I expect to find washcloths draped over the horizontal section going forward :/ In operating the valve, its fairly easy to adjust it forward and back (temperature) but making small adjustments to the flow by tipping it outward was harder. I.e. if you just want a small dribble while rinsing plates. It’s easier for our hands to make accurate twisting motions since they remain anchored in place. Making small adjustments down to the left is harder since your whole arm is involved (unless you brace some fingers against the backsplash). For the flow rate I measured 1.53 gallons dispensed in 60 seconds with a 50:50 hot/cold setting, not quite the 1.75 gal/min promised in the specs. As a right-handed person we were fine with the as-designed orientation but the valve can be flipped over to the left but then the hot-cold operation is reversed. Unfortunately, Grohe’s red/blue indicators cannot be changed even if you swapped the pipe connections to match the forward:cold, backwards:hot operation you might want. Like most manufactures, Grohe uses a special tool to achieve an installation free of visible fasteners but then good luck to your future self trying to find it a decade in the future. It also uses a plastic key to help you remove/install the aerator on the nozzle tip. I’m now parking these tools, and the installation/warranty info, and the purchase/installation date in sealed bags attached to the unit under the sink. Final verdict? It’s a decent faucet but for almost $500 I would expect near-perfection so having the exposed seal on the first unit didn’t inspire confidence so we docked a point for that. I’m hopeful that I don’t have to deal with it again for the rest of the time in our house, will update this review if we have problems.

Sleek, very modern look. The price was scary good, I was afraid there was a hitch, but no scratches or missing parts. Put it in in less than 1/2 hour. We had a Hansgohe faucet we put in our old house, which I loved, then of course we moved and I inherited a Pfister. I think Grohe and Hansgrohe are the same family, a little different, but still quality. I'm very happy with it.

Have had nothing but problems with this faucet in just months of installing it. It continues to come loose, leaking and it's very difficult to tighten. The entire unit has to be taken apart in order to tighten the nozzle and the middle area where the lever is.

We had minta but not the drop down version which splashed water all around each time. Ordered this to replace just the top part, works great

Love my new faucet. A little difficult to put in but once in it looks fantastic upgrading my kitchen Would buy again and recommend
