Replacing scratching posts
This worked out great for us because we just wanted to reuse the scratching post we had but we weren't willing to add more rope to it. this piece screwed right into the base of our scratching post and looks just like new.We didn't use this for the intended use that it was given. We do not have a wall mount scratching post but just the simple stand-alone scratching post that stands in the middle of a small piece of carpet. I purchased this with the intent to replace the old post and it did wonderful. If you're looking to replace your scratching post and you need another post this should work out just fine because the screw is the same size. The only thing I can't remember about this is whether or not I can double stack it.I believe I can I would just have to look at the product and I will submit a review update later to detail whether or not this has the ability. I'm almost certain that it does considering I just didn't have another two-way screw so that I could attach an additional post and make my scratching post taller. The packaging it came in was pretty simple as it was just a box and a little bit of plastic wrapping and that was it. The packaging was very minimal.

Very Nicely Made, Sturdy when Mounted
Very well made, but came with no instructions, but common sense will help you figure out how to assemble. Good, thick sisal rope, will not ravel over time like my other cat tree did. Cat played with it as soon as I took it out the box. It's wall mountable, but my cat seemed to prefer it on it's side, more than on the wall. (it's strong enough to sit on side too)Has 2 long mounting screws to mount on wall, door or in cat's play area, for enjoyment of all of our cats. One note* find a sturdy, permanent place to mount it because the screws are long and will leave holes in the wall, which we found out the hard way, since cats preferred to play with it unmounted on the floor.Overall, nice sturdy well made product.

Cats Love It!
I purchased this wall-mounted cat stratching post because my cats always knock over the freestanding ones. Also, they love stratching on door frames, and I thought this would be an excellent solution. I mounted it on one of the door frames in my house, and my furbabies love it! It is very well made, and I feel like it will last a long time. All of the mounting hardware is included, which is, of course, very helpful. With the way it's made, the top part works as a cat shelf, too. My kitten enjoys sitting on it.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a high-quality cat scratcher.

One, two, oh no we need three
Got this guy when he was 4mos old 4 yrs ago. Bought him a cat condo, which had a round top perch. He likes to lay stretched out, so we modified it with a piece of wood with a pet bed screwed into it. Well, he kept growing and so I got him a new bed and added an egg crate padded pad underneath. He loved it. Stretched out and flipped the darn thing over. Bending the screw in the original post. Bought these and replaced the original post. Ended up buying another set as I felt based on his 15lb size, that a tripod would be more stable for him long term.

can't measure any of the criteria: UPDATED
arrived broken. i now have to buy wood glue to assemble the bits enough to ideally hold stability for my cat to pull Very VERY disappointed.Don't know how to upload photos to demonstrate but it's sad.UPDATE 4/22/20202Huh. I had updated this last week, but it didn't seem to take. I received a follow up email from the company regarding revising the original review. I had, in my earlier update (which isn't here) mentioned how quick the company responded to my distress and refunded me the broken product they feel broke during shipment (I'm not convinced, or if that were the case, the product had weak points). I had mentioned how sincere the company appeared and gave one more star (making it two) because the product was still broken and now undiscoverable in effectiveness for rating in the manner the stars are intended. But, after this latest email from them, not knowing the first update hadn't "taken," I've gone ahead and given the full 5 stars because I want to try again to put this all behind all of us and they really don't want my poor review of one star and they were a good, quick responsive company. Here's hoping this submit button works this time.

Kitty loves it, no mess on floor!
Great quality scratching post! This came in the mail right away and since it came, my cat can't get enough of it. My cat is pretty big and he usually ends up knocking his scratching post over and forgetting about it. But since this one is mounted, I don't have to worry about that. Also, he knows exactly where it is, so he automatically goes to it when he wants to stretch out his claws. It's become is go-to. There's no smell and the sisal material is very sturdy and there's no mess or lint. It came exactly as advertised and was super easy to install!

They couldnt do the job i needed them for.
I bought these to replace the posts that broke on my cat tree, the ones that held up the beds which was probably asking to much out of this product seeing how they are not as thick and made out of the same stuff. After they broke (plastic part came out) I tried to fix them by using a hot glue gun, 4 screws and 4 nails (seeing the company only used glue) which worked for 1 out of the 2 bc then the bolt broke out of the one.So I guess as long as you don't need them for what I did you should be fine.

Don't rely on the anchors
Not difficult to put together, even though theres no instructions. Comes with a little Allen wrench/screw driver combo. Biggest issue is that the anchors don't work with the screws when assembled. The screws come right out. I used gorilla glue to fix the issue but it's such a weird issue.
