extremely high quality organic ceremonial matcha. for those who distribute direct from japan, this is comparable only to rishi. it's significantly cheaper. glows vibrant green and mixes clean in both hot or cool water. forward facing umami that turns grassy and sweet. my first bag - it will be my go-to if the quality stays consistent. very satisfied.

I researched this company and they are very careful to grow their plants in the way they should be grown to get the safest and best flavorful matcha. I like how I can order refills at a lower cost and put it in my tin that I ordered originally until I feel I need to reorder another tin and start over again with refill packaging. I will only buy organic, which this is and it always comes very quickly!

One of the reviews here really sold me this product (the one that said this was like "green cocaine"). So naturally I purchased the matcha and it really lived up to that review! I thought that the color was a beautiful vibrant green and the flavor was amazing! Such a nice aroma the moment you open the package and very little bitterness. I could drink it on its own (no sugar or honey etc). I repurchased it recently which is what compelled me to write this review. My latest purchase of this matcha did not compare to the first one. I'm not sure if this has to do with inconsistency in the quality of the matcha or if it is my own taste buds. Regardless, I'm sad that my second purchase of this matcha did not nearly compare to my first :(

Alright, so I LOVE this matcha and have zero complaints about the quality of this matcha. Honestly the best matcha I've bought from Amazon. BUT you get SO LITTLE for almost $20. The bag is seriously so tiny that it lasted me for maybe a month. It made about 12 matcha lattes. I would say, go with the same brand, but get the slightly lower grade matcha in the bigger bag. Tastes the same and you get more bang for your buck!!!

Delicious and strong flavor

As compared with other ceremonial grade matcha, enough flavor and aroma and little enough bitterness to make it a good value at this price. Packaging is good if you have a canister on hand, and keeps this product fresh.

This is a perfectly solid matcha but it’s nothing to write home about. I’ve been looking for something really good and unique and this is basically an average, mid-level matcha. The flavor, color, and smell are fine but nothing too interesting.
