Helikon-Tex US Model Surplus Line Poncho

This is an excellent poncho. It works well, is tough, and actually stuffs back into its sack without needing to fold it in some wackadoo way. For swagman roll owners, this poncho fits over the swagman roll very well. Helikon-Tex rarely disappoints.

Keeps you dry in rain, Not USGI surplus.

Ok. Who doesn’t like a good poncho, this is lightweight and water repellent just like basic training days it works. Use it as a poncho or a shelter, many ways to use these and there are tons of YouTube videos to give you ideas.

I have not tested it under weather but it seems to be good quality ripstop. Like all ponchos it's basically a sack with a hole for your head so writing a long review is really not a thing. Seems fone!

I primarily use this for my hunting/backpacking rain layer. It serves as a great middle ground between cheap knockoff rain gear and ultra expensive rain jackets by name brands as it is waterproof and durable enough to keep me comfortable in wet conditions but doesn't break the bank. Most of the time it sits in my car emergency kit until I need it for a hunting/backpacking trip. Versatile poncho.

Light and functional. I really like how well this poncho does it's job. It's a bit lower than other brands. Th material looks to be Rip stop like but isn't so thick it's heavy.

Always a little skeptical seeing German in the product description but its exactly the right poncho in English!! absolutely worth the money! snugs into the swagman roll and you can just feel the high quality. If you are like me, tired marine.... this will blow you away compared to the "sleep systems" that are issued.
