Great systema guildbook
I purchased a copy of the original book, and it is still as impactful as it was twenty-five years ago. Like an instruction manual to build a workout machine, this book is the ultimate guide to the basics of Systema. You can go about building the machine without the manual, but the manual provides the fundamentals to help provide the builder with the appropriate tools to begin construction. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for guidance and knowledge of the core values of Systema.

A good introduction to Systema
I enjoyed this compact introductory book about Systema, a Russian Martial Art. I have been doing some Systema breathing and movement in addition to my daily Martial Arts training and find it very helpful. I am learning a traditional Karate style, and Systema is very different, but in many ways complimentary to my Karate practice. I especially find the relaxation helpful, so that I am better able to be fluid and precise in my Kata, and apply tension where necessary, but use relaxed movement when tension is not necessary. I am excited to learn more.
