I have been making cold brew for years. This is the first time I've purchased this brand. It makes a very bitter cold brew. I'll go back to my other brands.

I will try another coffee because my order has not been sealed to be airtight once I became a pretty regular customer.

I absolutely love this coffee. I now make my own ice coffee and it taste so much better.

One More Cup ground coffee is specifically meant for cold brewing, but it's also works fine for other types of brewing where a coarse grind is ideal, like in a percolator or a hot brew in a French Press.The coffee is certified organic, fair trade, roasted in the USA, and made from 100% arabica beans (which usually have subtler, sweeter flavor than robusta beans). The flavor is rich, and for a medium dark roast it doesn't taste very burnt or bitter.One thing they could work on, though is better graphic design. Whoever designed the label used a typeface that looks like Comic Sans, for crying out loud, and the clash of 3-4 fonts does not look professional. I do like small brands' design sense that doesn't look too corporate or slick, but this is on the worryingly amateur side rather giving off a small biz/artisanal/local vibe.
