Perfect top!
I installed this top on my 1998 TJ. Overall, this is a great top for a fair price. As others suggested, make sure to leave it out in the sun to loosen up the material before attempting the install. It’s fits very tightly (which is a good thing)! So far I have no leaks— hopefully that remains true over time. I highly recommend the top.Keep in mind:-Top fits tightly so you should wait for a warm sunny day to install-Center of top lacks the arch bar included in the more expensive bestop trektop. Without that bar you’ll get some rainwater pooling when parked and more wind noise at highway speed. Something to keep in mind when deciding on your top. My budget didn’t allow for the nearly twice as expensive top.-Having a second person would help ease installation, but it’s not necessary. I installed this 100% solo.-IMPORTANT: You MUST reuse several OEM soft top parts for this top to work. If you don’t already have an old soft top then you’re probably better off with the bestop trektopUPDATEI made myself a front arch bar to help reduce wind noise and potential rainwater pooling associated with the unsupported sunrider section of the top. Many videos suggest making the arch out of PVC but that looks cheep in my opinion. I made the arch out of 1”x1/8” aluminum bar (painted with Rustoleum etching primer and top coated with their textured black rattle can). I topped the aluminum with 1/16” neoprene foam. With the foam side facing up, I attached the bar to the roll bars with two “GS Power Bracket 1.75 inch Compact Tube Clamps.” All items purchased on Amazon.

Overall the Top looks fantastic. And it is quieter than my old soft ...
I had to knock it a couple of stars because I wasn't shipped exactly what I needed. Overall the Top looks fantastic. And it is quieter than my old soft top. I am happy with my purchase. What was troublesome was the fact I was sent two of the same Side Bows. One lined up perfectly with where the rivet had been, but the other didn't. So I swapped them, thinking I had messed up. Again, the same side lined up, and the other did not. Now I'm stuck. I can't wait for the part. I have taken apart the old soft top. So I bust out a marker and a drill bit and make the holes where I need them. (A simple sticker marking the driver bow and the passenger bow would solve this problem, guys.)A couple of things about the install:1.) WARM UP ALL THE PIECES OF THE NEW TOP.2.) Seriously, do not start this project in the afternoon. Start in the morning, so that when you go to put the top on it has had ample time to warm up.3.) Did I mention you MUST WARM THE TOP IN THE SUN.4.) If you let the evening air cool the top, like me, cry, cuss, and be patient. It can be zipped up, but you will hate the top for a couple of days after. And for about a week, if anyone reaches for the zipper, you might hurt them.5.) A 4.5mm drill bit it not necessary. 11/64 drill bit--which is 4.4mm--works just fine.6.) When zipping up the windows for the first time. Work front to back, alternating a few inches on each side.7.) You will have to get the two side windows zipped up and in their grooves before that back window will ever go in.8.) The track on the back that your back window is suppose to "J-hook" onto, was invented by Satan. Don't feel guilty for hating the inventor, he/she deserves your wrath. It will go into the track, eventually. If you want to keep your sanity, invite a friend over to help. Four hands would have been much better.Did I mention the top looks great and I love the flip back sun roof? One last thing...WARM UP THE @#^&-ing TOP before you attempt to put it on the first time.

Awesome top - except when it rains....
So .. this top is awesome - when it’s sunny out and you can flip it open. It was relatively easy to install - if my husband had read the directions FIRST! Not as we were going!Wind noise is reasonable- it’s a soft top ... you can’t really expect much here. No leaks, seals are good. My only gripe ... as you can see in the photo, when it rains - all the water pools in the center of the top. When you go to get in - you are not faster than the puddle, no matter what you think.Other than that - this is an awesome replacement top for the wrangler. Good value for the $$
