Excellent piece of kit
Bought this for replacing my rear pads and discs on my Audi A6.Plugged in to my obd port, followed the very clear instruction on screen, and it wound back my electric handbrake.Replaced my pads and discs, and again followed the onscreen instructions and reset my handbrake. Saved ££££ .Well built and feels good quality. Would highly recommend for a DIY mechanic, it has loads more features that I will explore in the future, and update soon. Very pleased.

Worked first time, with nice intuitive menus. No college education required
I have a recurring air bag light fault, costing me money to extinguish each time it comes on, but every time it's a different code and no fault can ever be found in the indicated component, or any of its' wiring. This diagnostic tool does exactly what I've been paying the specialists to do. It tells me what the fault is, in plain English and allows me to reset the light, with no need to visit the dealer. It also interrogates all the other systems on the car, informing me about other faults that I'd otherwise miss, resets the service indicator and a whole host of other things I haven't had a chance to explore yet.An absolute bargain at the price of a couple of visits to the specialist.Every owner of a VAG vehicle should own one, if they plan to do any work themselves.

Dont pay the garage, buy this instead!
I have used this device for around 6 months now whilst self maintaining and diagnosing my 2003 1.6 MK4 Golf match and it has been AMAZING and has saved me hundreds of pounds, This plucky and fairly rudimentary device comes with a few ace cards tucked in its sleeve that you would expect only a flagship device could offer you, i was amazed that after reconditioning my throttle body and performing a full service this decently priced device was true to its roots and was able to align my throttle body and clear the lights first time no problem. This device helped me diagnose 2 cylinder misfires and a faulty door lock module with some light reading which i repaired both inexpensively and effortlessly with the help of youtube, Why pay the garage!!Fair enough the functionality and build quality is basic depending on what you want from an OBD2 device with standard features you would expect from a device in this price range HOWEVER, the quantity, reliability and consistency of the data on offer here i find is UNPARALLELED compared to devices 3 times the price all with no subscription.Just bear in mind the extra features are limited to VAG group vehicles only and be specific in what your needs are.

Does Exactly What It Says On The Tin
Purchased this scanner specifically to clear an airbag dash warning light on my son's Golf Mark V and accomplished this in about 1 minute of connecting it to the cars OBDII port. The scanner is so easy to use, self powered from the OBDII port and it scans & clears codes very quickly. As this can be used specifically for all Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda & Seat cars this tool will come in very handy for me over time.It also can scan & clear codes on any OBDII compliant car (nearly all since 2002) albeit not at the same depth as its Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda & Seat scanning modes.Delighted with the purchase, got it on a 20% off offer and it has paid for itself first use. Would highly recommend.

Worked as should and great value for money!
Had an airbag light on in my 2003 VW Polo 9N. First got an error code saying 'Databus drivetrain missing message from airbag control module'. My module was sent off and came back since it had some corrosion on it from a recent leak and dampness in the car. When it was able to connect back, was able to delete 7 codes from it which fixed my airbag light, and can now take it for its MOT. The OBD2 is a great value for money on VAG vehicles. Great at detecting most codes with other features which you're able to read about. I got it for £48 and couldn't be happier really. A lot of cheaper tools don't have airbag scanners, so watch out!

the 3 stares is mainly aimed at Amazon as when I placed the order I also joined Prime thinking it would arrive the next day but no. At the same time there was a sale on and this item had 20% off but, after realising the item wouldn't be coming early as I wanted it to (I was going away in my car and wanted a job doing before I went using this item), I cancelled my original order and replaced the order for the same item only to find that the 20% discounted sale had no ended so ended up paying the full price. With regards to the item itself. It appears to be a decent device although the menu system isn't very intuitive and the instructions are pretty basic but the company do say to contact them if you need assistance so ... I did that and, well, they never got back to me on the matter but I did actually find what I was looking for eventually by just trying different branches of the menu systems.
