Top notch cooler
This block keeps my gf's ryzen 7 nice and cool. Very nice quality to it and of course looks pretty. I have an older model myself for an i7 and it does its job well.

After Two Years of Use
I've been using this water block for two years on a Ryzen 3900X, and figured a long-term review would be helpful, as these blocks are apparently still available.First things first... I've never had any issues with leaking, as some have reported here. I, of course, can't rule out possible manufacturer defects from being the cause of other reviewer's experiences, but... folks, make sure you have a pressure relief valve somewhere in your loop. Leaks are often the result of too much pressure in the system. This block keeps my CPU consistently cool under heavy load. I can't remember seeing a temp above 60c. My loop has a single 360 radiator with fans that almost never need to spin up above 800RPM - the RPM curve is based on the T-Sensor in the loop., so momentary spikes in CPU activity don't cause occasional noise.Performance aside, I did have one issue with this, which is that the built-in aRGB strip stopped working less than a year in. I hypothesized a bad connection, but dismantling the block and resoldering the wire connection to the strip did not resolve the problem. I ended up cutting the strip out during my annual system clean. This is more than a cosmetic issue for me, because the lack of available light makes it difficult to keep an eye on the block for potential buildups/clogs or leaks over time (not that I've ever had any, but the peace of mind is nice). I'd like to switch to another block, but then I'd be spending more, throwing away an otherwise functional block, and also would have to reconstruct some of my loop hardlines, which is a hassle I haven't felt like tackling. One star deducted for this defect. But overall, this has been a good block over time; it does what it needs to do, and well. Four stars.

Alphacool products don't disappoint!
Looks good and has excellent thermals. RBG is brighter than most blocks. Comes with thermals paste. Compact enough so there won't be clearance issues.

Leaks
Luckily using hyte y60 case so my couple grand graphics card was spared. Leaked tested a couple of days after build, and all seemed good.Looked at my reservoir couple weeks later and saw considerable drop.Added some dye to make more noticeable and saw the whole top of the unit was leaking. wiped the whole outside to make sure it wasn't splatter or something, but nope the unit was failing in under a month.Like the look of the thing and since not catastrophic for me, going to buy again in hopes it's just a one off.

Leaking like crazy
The only 2 Alphacool products I purchased for my computer both have failed. This, the CPU block, in less than a year has developed a leak along the ENTIRE bottom edge of the block. Strangely it didnt look like something that developed overtime either. Since its a custom PC I tend to check on it everyday. But randomly today it just leaked like crazy. Disappointing since Alphacool is pretty known for their great products but twice I've had bad experiences. The other is their Helix reservoir with UV light.

It started leaking after 4 months of light use.
It's not the easiest thing to mount. Not does it feel very stable monted. Also I noticed the LEDs were staying on when computer off. So upon further inspection it is leaking inside of the block. I will be contacting support. Will update on their service.
