About the Author Annie Kay first visited Bulgaria in 1974 and has been a regular visitor ever since. Her favourite places have always been Sofia and Koprivshtitsa. Since 1996 she has organized the British-Bulgarian Society's special interest tours on themes such as birds, butterflies and moths, wild flowers, folklore and culture, and as a result knows both the country and its tourism infrastructure well.
