SENWOW Illuminated Makeup MirrorThe mirror is made from what looks to be good quality shiny white plastic, it seems quite sturdy and is not cheap looking at all in my opinion. It has two mirrors, one side gives a normal reflection whereas the other side is curved to give 10x magnification. The mirror folds down making it easy to store in a suitcase or travel bag, although it is a little large to fit in a handbag unless you carry a big bag? (It measures 6 inches x 2 inches when folded down) The mirror glasses themselves measure five inches across (12.5 cm) there is an illumination ring around the outside of the mirror which gives off a powerful light when switched on. This light is provided by 16 LEDs which are hidden behind a soft glow plastic panel. The power switch is on the base of the mirror, it's a push push switch, push once light on, push again light off. The switch gives a positive click and feels as if it will last.The mirror illumination is powered via four AA batteries or alternatively by a plug in USB power cable which plugs into the base. A USB cable is included in the box with the mirror but no batteries are provided. The cable is one metre long so may prove to be a little restrictive unless you have a power point close by. I found batteries to be most suitable for my use as it enables me to hold the mirror in my hand. To be honest, I tend to rarely use the built in light so the batteries should last a good time before they will need replacing.After inserting the four AA batteries into the base it was ready for use. The mirror is attached to a sturdy swivel arm that you can raise to whatever height you wish, you can also swivel the mirror so any position is possible. I especially like the 10x magnification which is ideal for plucking eyebrows and nose hairs.I do like this mirror, the reflection on both sides is crystal clear, I also like that you can easily hold it in your hand. I find the 10x magnification very useful. This was rather disappointing and had to be returned. Initially, when I removed it from the box, one of the mirrors fell out of the frame. Looking at the frame and back of the mirror you can see that they've been very stingy with the glue. The mirror on the other side was attached, but it wasn't flush with the frame, it was raised at one edge by at least 2mm.Although I could have reset the mirrors myself, I also had an issue with the extending arm as it just didn't properly support the mirror. It would begin to dip and leaned a little to one side.A shame as the lights on it are decent and surprisingly bright. The option for batteries or USB is also a nice touch, but the supplied USB cable is very short.

Great value for money. The magnified side is too magnified but we only want to use the standard mirror. It is well made and illuminates really well. Can be charged by mains so can also act as a mood light for your bathroom. Definitely recommend as it is much cheaper than alternatives.

I bought this mirror for a Christmas present, however I did inspect before wrapping up. It is well made and having the addition of a usb cable for the light makes it perfect for use on holiday . The small compartments can be use for jewelry etc.I just hope the recipient will like it as much as the sender

I love this mirror as it has solved a couple of problems for me. My bedroom lights are dim yellow and my makeup table is away from my reading lights so putting on make up and checking on my skin always required me to use my handheld mirror away from my dressing table (first world problem really). Now, it's only a matter of turning the lights on the mirror. It is also a good height and adjustable too, so I don't have to hold it up or prop it on something else. I also tend to get painful mouth ulcers and this mirror has made it very very easy for me to apply medication (I used to use my phone's torch and small mirror which required a bit of balancing). Great purchase, hopefully it is durable. I took some points off for sturdiness as it is not 100% sturdy, but I can't complain given the price and aesthetics!

I love the design and the size, the mirrors are good but the built in light is pointless. I don't even realize that it's on its so dull. The mirror part is on a crap swivel that wire through in a day. Now the mirror won't stand up. I got a more expensive product to replace it now.

Exceeded my expectations. Great mirror, magnification is excellent, moving arm is flexible and enables you to put the mirror in different positions with ease, it's a good size and will be perfect to pack in a suit case. In my opinion it is great value for money tpp.

....so easy to transport and light is adequate but not as bright as I originally thought it would be. Quite plasticy so not sure if it will eventually crack or break easily with use, but I'll be back to update my review if this does happen?
