I've loved Maxine for many years. Her sense of humor, to me, is hilarious. I have many of her logo items around the house. I was given a door mat by my son. I have a note pad holder, nights shirt, etc.I share her quotes with my friend in my communications with them and they love it.They tell me all the time how funny they are and how it makes them laugh.The funniest part about this for me is, I call Maxine my role model but my personality is the exact opposite of hers. I guess maybe that's why she is so funny to me.I love the book I purchased. it's everything I wanted it to be. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Maxine's humor.

MAXINE IS SO FUNNY, TAKE IT LIGHTLY. IF YOU ARE ALREADY A GROUCH, IT MAY FEED THAT URGE. GET A LIFE AND HAPPY UP.

Yelling is good - it irritates people (especially men) raising your voice. Have a "hissy fit" w/attitude - hon, it works. If you're around Maxine's age - you'll "get" what she's saying w/out thought. If you're younger - 1st thank your maker & then enjoy what's to come. Believe me it will...

I kept getting cartoons from friends and found them hilarious, so I decided to buy this book, which gave me not only a lot of moments of fun, but some insight into the people who come up with all the witty remarks Maxine makes. Besides that she looksjust like a friend of mine with the hat and glasses an I have a photo to prove it.would definitely recommend this book -- for a few laughs.
