Only used it for brake caliper on my Volkswagen 2012 T1 but the tool came in as described.

Used it to remove wheel locks from my car. Hammered in into 4 wheel locks, removed all, no visible damage to the spokes.

Needed to have a wheel sensor replaced on a VW Touareg. The local mechanic doesn't work on these cars and didn't have the driver. I got him to agree to do the job if I supplied the tool. It arrived within a few days and the job was done. I gave the mechanic the driver and now he can expand his brake work to VW, Porsche, Audi and a few others.Got to love a win-win.

Never heard of a triple box square bit before I tried removing the brakes off a German made car! I needed it quick and Amazon delivered it as promised.

nice socket , works great

Like many of other reviewers here, I bought this to undo the rear calipers on a Volkswagen GTI. The socket did the job admirably, but was a bit too long for comfort. There's very little clearance behind the wheel hub, and fitting the socket with a ratchet head behind it could be challenge. This 1/2" drive version is a better tool for the job (as opposed to other 3/8" versions out there) as the bolts are in really tight, and you want the strongest ratchet you can fit in there.

I bought this socket to remove 2010 VW Golf caliper bracket bolts. Socket held up and was durable for sure, but I couldn’t remove the bolts because of the lack of space. Don’t get me wrong, not the sockets fault, but be sure you don’t need this for tight spaces, as it is pretty big. I had to go out and buy another set to complete the job.
