The door handle was suddenly loose. It was clear the spring was broken.I found these replacement springs easier on Amazon Marketplace than I would have in a hardware store.Thanks Amazon.Door was fixed within 24hrs.Note: the circle-clips to hold the spring are a bit fiddly to deinstall and install, but a screwdriver with a little gentle patience does work without injury. Also, take a photo of the workings before you start; spring alignment is critical to a proper repair.

I used these to replace the springs in the Jedo brand door handle - it's working well again now! I bought the 2.5 Turns Springs Coil 2mm Thick springs, as these seemed the best match. One small issue was that because of the top curl on the spring, it interfered slightly with the screw fitting - this meant that the door handle was not operating smoothly and would not spring back completely. I rectified this by not using the bottom screw, which worked fine with the other 3 screws holding the rose in place.(For search terms the handle is Jedo Frelan Hardware Turin Door Handles On Round Rose, Rustic - JV550RUS)

Fit perfectly, but thinner and offers much less resistance than the spring being replaced did. Had to pack the spring to stop the handle from having too much play. Not disastrous - just merely okay. I can live with them as replacements. No reflection on the seller, they are what they are... most of the other sellers here had the same spec./dimensions.
