XpertMatic Dimmable Magnifying Lamp, 2.25X Magnifier with 38 LED Lights Anti-flip Stand and Clamp, 5 Diopter Hands Free Magnifying Light with Flexible Gooseneck

This is what I was looking for to use in the quality control lab to inspect parts.LED lights - The led lights are bright and you can adjust the brightness. The only complaint I have about the lighting is that the cover blocks the dial for the light of it is up. It hard to adjust it if the kid is open. You tend to close the lid if you need to adjust the light. Since the this will he used in the lab that doesn’t get too dirty I took the lid off. It’s easy to remove. It’s only attached by too small knobs so you can pull the lid without much force. I’ll hang on to it just in case I need it in the future.Magnification - The Lens magnifies the parts enough to inspect them if there is an issue. I use this to inspect injection blow molded bottles and injected models plastic parts. You do need to move the parts to get them focused if you have the lens up high. The base does a good job of keeping it from tilting as you bring the lens down. It will tilt a little if you have the lens too far from the base. You can stop this by curving the ark so the lens is closer. It comes with a h clamp you can use to secure the lens to the side of a table. I’m not using this but it’s nice to have the option to, especially with how cheap the magnifying lamp was.Power - the LED lights only need 5 watts and are 720 likens when turned all the way up. The lights are power by a usb plug that you can plug into a computer. This is a great feature for me since I’m limited on power outlets. It does come with a usb adaptor if you want to plug it in.Summary - This is a great flexible magnifying lamp you can use to inspect parts. It is very portable and easy the use. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the design of the lid and led dial. If they would have designed it where you could use the lid and and adjust the light without closing the lid I would have given it 5 stars. This is a minor issue and I can use the lens without the lid but wanted k ok et people know about it. I’m happy with this purchase at how cheap it was. This was couple hundred dollars cheaper than other options I saw and probably just as good.

After having looked at a number of lighted magnifying glasses in retail stores, this one beats them all. The LED lights provide very good lighting and combined with the 5X magnifying glass it makes working with small objects a breeze. The magnifying glass comes with a heavy base and combined with a goose neck (rather then a spring supported arm) I have not had any problem with it tipping over. It also comes with a clamp to allow you to clamp it to a desk if you prefer. The on/off switch is on the lamp head rather then in the electrical cord like many other lamps, which makes for easy access. In addition, the light has a variable control switch so you can adjust the brightness to your liking. So in conclusion this has been a great purchase for me.

Came really fast. It is just what I wanted for doing my cross stitch in my recliner. I can see! Great light - goes from low to high. I can't say how much I love this setup. I need the magnification for high count fabric. This has made all the difference in my enjoyment at stitching. I love the versatility of the plug and/or USB and also the clamp or stand. This product was extremely thought through to perfection.

It works well with the exception of the clamp type mount. If I clamp it on my desk and then adjust the least amount... the clamp starts coming loose. The base mount it comes with is heavily weighted and works well but I wanted the clamp so I could swivel it down out of my sight line and then back up while working on something that I needed the magnifying glass for. That can be done with the weighted base... it just requires 2 hands.

It is the right size for my desk and fixes the problem of not seeing the tiny spaces on my paint by numbers. It is nice and sturdy, with a base that prevents it from tipping over. The light is nice too since that affects how well I can see to paint. I did not like the flip lid on the magnifier so I just removed it.

Great magnifier and I Love the ability to adjust the brightness of the light. Very handy to be able to clip to my table or use base when needed.

Very sturdy. Does not fall over as the base is quite heavy. Light is very bright; can be dimmed down. I use it daily for my paint by number projects. Magnifier is strong.Highly recommend.

This magnifying light is perfect for cross stitching. I own two ott light, one has a magnifying lense with a light. Ott light is good but not in comparison to the Xpermatic magnifying light. My vision is not good and I don’t cross stitch at night. Last night I cross stitch until midnight using the Xpermatic light. Thank you.
