Quality is great for the price
For the price, it is really good. I went on a trip where I needed to record, and live stream and this was really useful, and durable. The quality is extremely good as well, sounds really good and professional for the price.

Good performance for the price
This worked well on my older model iPhone and sound quality and volume level were excellent. It's important to note that at least in my case, I had to unplug this mic in order to play back my video and hear the audio. At first I thought the mic was not recording anything. This is not really a flaw, but just a heads up for any users that might have the same experience.

Wired Lav mic for iPhone, Works with filmic pro!
Initially couldn’t find the microphone in filmic pro as an aux microphone bit unplugged it and plugged it back in and it popped up as an option in the audio settings. Way less static noise than the iPhone 8 microphone. Be sure to speak in a soft normal volume voice. If you have A loud booming voice it can cut out and sound distorted. And depending on where you mount the microphone on yourself and how you sit determines the audio. Like reflections and what not so test out a few locations and see what sounds the best for yourself.I used it as a microphone 3ft in front of me out of shot of the frame and it was a way better experience than the built in microphone. I’m really impressed. But I sure there’s gotta be better microphones out there. I didn’t try it as a real lav mic with it clipped on to my shirt, mainly because the spring clip was designed in such a way that it’s too stiff and could easily slip and pinch your hand. But this was a good investment and will use it more often in the future

IT'S $10?!! Get it.
Seriously how is this ten dollars? Amazing sound quality for the price, so easy to connect.. I plug it straight into my iPhone and record. Videos sound way more professional now, perfect latency as far as I can tell there's no delay at all.

Solo Content Creators
The media could not be loaded. Really great mic, simply plug in and its ready to record. The quality is much better than many of the wireless mics in the price range. The only thing I dont like is the wire but that simply personal preferance. The wire hasnt prevented me from anything and it is long enough should you need to take a few steps back. Pretty good investment for solo content creators

Every Rustle Will Be Heard
Don’t buy these hella cheap mics. Period. They do not work whatsoever. Yes, the mic does record sound but it records every single sound made by the slightest bit of movement. Even if you barely move, the inaudible rustling sound coming from your clothes will completely drown out all other sounds when listening to playback. This is supposed to be a lapel microphone meaning you’re supposed to attach the mic to your shirt/jacket with the built-in clip, but that’s utterly pointless. Your voice will not be heard over any physical adjustment. I would immediately give up on trying to make the lapel mic discreet by tucking it in your collar or your hair. All you will hear is scratching noises up against the mic. What I would suggest to make the microphone pick up your voice is attaching the mic clip to an object like a microphone stand that’s sitting right in front of your face. No use being discreet about it. Now, make sure the mic clip is attached to object that will not move the entire time you’re recording. Lastly, try not to move whatsoever. Your mouth is the only thing allowed to move as the rest of your body remains completely still. That’s the only way I have made this cheap POS work for me before it just randomly quit working three months after purchasing it.What I would recommend to those who haven’t bought this product, simply don’t. Just buy a regular microphone, preferably one with a stand. If you think this is a nice cheap option to hold you down while looking for a better replacement, you might get very lucky and have success with it. All i can tell you is that I have bought other mics just like this, and I have to go through hell each time I needed to record something. Trust me; whatever you’re recording on has better built-in microphones than this crappy item.
