This is the best manual can opener I have ever owned! Good old American craftsmanship. No rust, easy to open cans and still works like the first time after five years

I have thrown out so many can openers over the last few years. This product is great. Every can opens with easy. I've had it close to a year now with no complaints. Being made in the USA is a double bonus.

It works pretty good for the 3 times I used it so far. The cutting wheel looks like it was sharpened on a grinding stone and already has a chip in it.

I have been looking for an easy can opener to use for years to accommodate my physical disability. I mostly use one hand while the other one can only hold onto things with minimal grip strength. With this can opener, I am able to open cans by turning the handle with my dominant hand while only having to barely hold on with my weak hand (to keep the mechanism closed). All the other brands I have tried requires average grip strength of both hands (I would be able to latch onto the cans but couldn’t hold the mechanism closed with my weak hand while turning the handle with my dominant hand).I could have tried electric can openers but I was hesitant regarding the occasional negative reviews about metal shards getting into the cans. So I wanted a mechanical one for safety concerns. I finally found the perfect product for me!
