Opened the box and I was immediately impressed.The lighter fits in the hand comfortably and is very well constricted.It has a solid feel and is most attractive.PROS: power level indicator very powerful arc simple to use angle of "prongs / igniters" perfect for a pipe sleek design / slides into your pocket with ease superior materials and assemblyCONS: battery life is shortDue to its small size I am sure that is the reason for the short battery life.(small battery = less uses)If you plan to use this all day away from a charger this lighter won't do.Other than that this is by FAR the BEST arc lighter I have seen yet !!!If this lighter is going to sit on your pipe stand, buy it!If you only need to use this lighter a limited number of times a day, buy it!!Don't get me wrong, for its size you actually get quite a few lights out of it.A very strong arc that will get your pipe or cigar lit with little effort.My advice, pick one up. I sure for 85 - 90 percent of you this will be perfect.The other 10 - 15 percent are probably looking for more battery life.The problem with that is obvious, more battery life equals a larger/heavier battery.In the end I think this product is a good balance.For the price I don't see where you can go wrong.I would buy as a gift for a friend, it is that nice.The company that produces this lighter has reason to be proud.They deserve the five star rating.

Great lighter with lots of little add ons.Bought it as a gift and everyone who saw it thought it was awesome and wanted one. My brother loves it. Very durable and the little flash light is such a great bonus

Update: The seller reached out to me and is doing everything they can to make sure that I am satisfied. They have ensured me that I have just received a defective lighter and the replacement is in the mail now. I will post another update when I receive the replacement, however if it the battery problem is fixed I couldn’t ask for a better lighter. I’ve had it for a few days now and other than the battery issue the thing is amazing.I want to like this lighter so bad, and I do for the most part, however the battery life on my lighter is terrible. I’m not a very heavy smoker (about half a pack/day) and by the time I get home from work the battery is just about dead from a full charge in the morning. I’m not sure if maybe I received a defective lighter but all the other brands that sell very similar products boast about battery life that lasts all week. It’s a solid feeling lighter and it works well but I didn’t want a lighter that I have to charge every night.

This lighter doesn't work for me, so I had to return. The plasma flame is very small, so I wasn't able to fully light my cigar after several tries. The size of the flame appears to fit a cigarette rather than a cigar. I'm not a good judge of the battery life since I was using a cigar. Maybe it lasts longer with a cigarette. Very disappointed.

Bought this for my husband and he likes it. Has to be charged - no fuel needed! Lights with no problem, won't blow out. Problem is that once the tobacco gets low in the pipe, it is hard for him to use, since it has no flame; he has to put it down into the pipe. He says he is afraid of getting burned. I am sure it would be perfect for cigars and cigarettes. And it is very cool looking!

It's good to know that the battery that failed in this one , because of a leak can be replaced. A little soldering will be necessary. A very good seller response He replaced one that had fizzed out prematurely after six months use. I use them mainly as a pilot lighter to light a propane torch lighter. They will give you a nice zap if you get careless though, ..a mini tasser.

I have received my second lighter, because the first one was defective. The second one works better 👍. When I wrote the person who is selling it he was very on the nose and very helpful. He wanted to do anything he could to help me out, and I as a customer appreciated that. Once I gave him the info on the lighter my money was back in my account ASAP, and it didn't take days or weeks like some of these places do. Thank You so much for all the help you did for me.
