I typically wear a size XS-S and size 2-4 in women’s clothing, so I was expecting that a size M jacket would work for me, but this style is very fitted, like a lot of Helly Hansen jackets. I ended up getting the Belfast jacket instead and sized up to a large just to be safe, so I have room to layer with my heavy wool sweaters. I like the Belfast style much better, I think the zipper construction is better quality, I also like that the hood is insulated just like the rest of the jacket to keep your head warm, and I love the outer zip pocket, neither of which this style offers. If you’re trying to decide between the two like I was, I definitely recommend the Belfast over the Aden.

This is a great jacket for the fall, especially for those cold and wet days. It keeps me nice and toasty when I layer properly. In prolonged rain the seams do leak and there will be a slight dampness in the lining. Maybe a waterproofing spray could help the seams a bit. Overall the coat is really nice fitting and comfortable, roomy enough to fit a sweater or sweatshirt underneath. The hood is awesome! It cinches for a perfect fit and really works to keep the wind and rain out. I’m 5’6” with an athletic build and a C-cup bust and this jacket is perfectly sized in M.

Ich trage die Jacke täglich beim Spaziergang mit unserem Hund und bin begeistert. Sie ist absolut regen- und winddicht, leicht und angenehm zu tragen. Ich habe die Jacke absichtlich großzügig bestellt und ziehe im Winter eine Fleecejacke drunter, somit ist sie auch für kalte Tage geeignet.
