K-R23863-SD-VS Motif Kitchen Faucets with Pull Down Sprayer, Kitchen Sink Faucets, Spot-Resistant, Vibrant Stainless

With some hesitation I attempted to remove my old Kohler faucet (single lever with spray on the side). After about one and half hours, I was about to call the plumber but I started to rattle the faucet which caused the cracked base support underneath to fall off in pieces and then dripped all over as I went under the sink. I also got water from some hose dripping into my left ear. But once the support fell off I was able to pull everything up through the hole and get the old faucet out. Given the rust, it was not possible to disconnect the support nut by wrench or pliers. Then comes the easy part. Installation of this faucet is so easy even an old senior like me can do it (with neck and back ache consequences). Once in place, the faucet is so elegant (even better than the steel one) and functions like a charm. I washed the cast iron grills on my cooktop and rinsing them off with the sprayer function was such a breeze. This faucet is quite heavy and it is recommended to have wood added to stainless steel sink for support. But my stone sink has no problem. I am glad I chose Kohler again. Removal of this faucet 10 years later could be another problem as the ring screws on to the faucet stem to secure it and rust will certainly prevent the ring to slide back out again for removal. Maybe I should keep spraying the stem and ring assembly regularly with antirust spray.

This is a very nice faucet. My husband installed it with no issues. It works and looks great! It is a little big (diameter). I thought I wouldn't like that, but it is not an issue and we love it! Looks very nice in our sink! A very good value compared to others we looked at. Very happy with our purchase!

Love my new kitchen faucet. Simple and elegant. Works great with spray and perfect size for my kitchen- big and makes a statement but not over powering the kitchen decor My only issue is that I kinda have to force the hose to go back into the faucet. It doesn’t retract on its own, but otherwise I love it. No leaks or issues so far…..

Replaced an old Moen builders grade plain vanilla faucet that had been there since 1968, and had finally given up the ghost. Two complete cartridge replacements on the old Moen by another plumber not the one who did the install on the new faucet didnt stop the dripping from the Moen. To add insult to injury, the guy who tried twice to fix the Moen msanaged to switch the hot Nd cold feeders on his sevond go round. Makes a real difference in the look of the kitchen I had a professional plumber in to install it. At 75 I don't get under cabinets on my back upside down anymore to use a basin wrench to unscrew the locking nuts on 50 plus year old faucets, so I can't really comment on the install difficulty or ease of the install process. At least it doesn't leak like the old one did. I love the center spout pull out / pull down hose. It's only been installed 6 weeks.. I hope I have the same feeling of satisfaction one year, and rwo years from install date.

We found a company in Atlanta who will cut your original granite in place and put in a new sink and we were all in! Simply Sinks it's called....they did a great job and we love our new sink. We chose THIS faucet and it's made all the difference, as well! The sprayer at the push of a button has great strength that makes cleaning off the dishes and pots and pans a breeze! We've found ourselves sometimes washing and putting away dishes as we use them versus always sticking them in the dishwasher. The faucet head pulls down so easy....it could auto retract a little smoother on its own...you kinda have to feed it thru the last few inches many of the times....but given the convenience and efficiency and the look of this faucet, we would definitely buy it again!

Wow, can’t say a lot about this except for it is the most incredible beautiful faucet I’ve ever seen for the price. It was like maybe a third of what you would normally pay you know in a higher store Kohler knocked it out of the park. It just is just a beautiful accent to your kitchen.

EXCELLENT QUALITY, FAR BETTER THAN THE MOEN ! bought this because Moen pulldown which looks exactly like like this one quit working and nozzle detached from main body. cheaper to install whole new Kohler than pay huge nozzle replacement part from Moen, (and amazon Hibbert replacement parts I ordered were not available in brush nickel only shiny chrome. )

Plain simple, everyday faucet. Not loud and brash. Only thing I dislike is the handle, it's concave on the back so water from wet hands will run down the back of it and will eventually get calcified from minerals in the water. I can live with that. Had I known, I would have picked a rounded handle with no crevices.... I had a plumber install so I don't know how easy it would be. I assume it will be sturdy (it's Kohler), but no idea about long term as it's only been in a week.
