Bad batch?
Lovely company. I find them to be of upstanding quality and I really like their processing methods. I have bought their normal fish oil before. Now, I'm not one to deal with many burps in general so while this product is more concentrated and a little more "smelly" it didn't bother me any.The problem was that well before it's expiration date but before I could finish the bottle it went bad. Now, I always refrigerate fish oil upon arrival even if I still have another bottle to finish up first so, these were always refrigerated. And at taking only 1 a day with what would be a little less than 1/2 of the bottle left I noticed I was starting to consistently have fishy burps (which is also a tell-tale sign if your fish oil is rancid or not) and I smelled the bottle and that same strong smell was coming from it. I was already past the return window. I don't know if you have to finish it at the rate they recommend because for some reason it may be more unstable since it's super concentrated IDK? That's the only thing I can think of. But I don't need to take two a day since I also take other omegas which includes another of Wiley's products, and just because to share, a concentrated Cod liver oil for the natural vitamins A & D. I just wanted to bring up the amount of DHA's I was getting.

A very good option for pregnant women in my opinion
I did a little research on prenatal fish oil supplements and am pretty happy with this brand. I have now used it for about one year. Several reasons I like it are that I don't get any fish burps unlike with other fish oils I've tried (this appears to depend on person to person as I see some reviewers report burps), there is no need to refrigerate this oil, and so far I have tolerated it very well before and during my pregnancy (I am in the 5th month). It's a bonus that the oil comes from fish which was sustainably caught and is wild, and is tested to be mercury free. The softgels are somewhat large, but so are my prenetal supplement tablets and so I am used to it. Some people have mentioned they take only one of the softgels per day - sometimes I also do this but I feel my reason is simply that I don't feel like taking two big softgels. In addition to this oil I do eat fish about once a month just because I love it so much. Most prenatal information sources advise against certains kinds of fish, including tuna, but it is tuna that I have about once a month. After discussing this it with my prenatal care practitioner I feel encouraged that there is no need to avoid tuna altogether because I'd need to eat a huge amount to get a harmul dose of mercury into my body. Of course this is a personal decision for pregnant women, but I just wanted to share that I do supplement (or rather substitue) this fish oil source with actual fish once a month or so.

Highest quality, even comes in a glass bottle!
These are excellent. My doctor suggested I start taking prenatal vitamins plus these for two months, before trying to conceive. So I bought the bottle with 120 softgels to "see how it goes." It's been three weeks and I'm very impressed with the high quality, no fishy burps AT ALL, and the added bonus that I love: the vitamins come in a glass bottle! No worrying about BPA plastic or the closely related polycarbonate plastic (number 7 in the recycling symbol). I'm trying to do the best for my body and prepare it for a healthy pregnancy and Wiley's Finest has very thoughtfully rejected the use of plastic to house the softgels. I'm very impressed with this company and their commitment to quality - - everything from the bottle to the fish oil used, the molecular distillation and purification techniques used, certified sustainable fishing, etc. etc. I was not compensated in any way for this review, by the way. I simply think that credit should be given where credit is due.I'm excited to continue taking these leading up to my pregnancy, throughout my pregnancy, and while breastfeeding.

No fish burp!
I’m so happy I purchased this product. I’ve tried many omega-3/fish oil products. There has only been one other product that hasn’t caused fish burps. This provides me and baby with the right amount of omega-3/DHA without having to worry about harmful additives/chemicals. I noticed that the pills don’t stick to each other either.

Low Epa
First of all you shouldn’t have sent this in an envelope, the lid was broken. Inner seal was ok so will use it. Epa is super low and I know its supposed to be 1200 and up. No burp, easy swallow small pills. I won’t buy again after I finish this one Thanks

so far so good!
other fish oils make me break out. For some reason, this one doesn't. I also have only had a liiiiittle bit of the burping that happens with fish-oil. I'm impressed!update: 11/1/2021 - still great! Just ordered two more bottles and got the cholesterol lowering version for family members.

The capsules smelled rancid after being open for a week
I purchased the capsules in January (it is March now) but dd not open the bottle until about a week ago. When I opened it there wasn't much bad smell even though I could smell some fish, more than other capsules, but it did not bother me. I kept them in a cool dark place as recommended however they developed a horrible rancid smell after about a week of being open. Contacted the seller, however was advised that I am not eligible for the refund since the bottle has been opened and it has been more than a month. Fair enough, this is their policy, however for me this was a total waste of money.
