Overall I'm very impressed with the product received, however, my biggest gripe with it is that you have to use the small cable provided. Having not seen this when buying the product I must say I was quite confused why it wasn't interacting so smoothly into my setup. Having now read the information on their website, I have been able to work out a way for this product to fit into my system. However is definitely annoying when purchasing a product with a removable cable, that I couldn't have used another one.The wieght and small for factor have made it exceptional in mounting to the undersid eof my desk and over all the quality and bukit is quite good for the price. The only question now is will it stand the test of time.

I was immediately impressed by the small size and the nice little rubber case which makes me feel confident throwing this in my bag. I am using it with my new 16" 2019 Macbook Pro and everything that I've used works without any issues so far.I use a second screen so have HDMI connected most of the time. I've also tested it with an SD card reader and that was no problem. My Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 also went into it via the USB 3.0 port and is recording audio well with no latency.I like that I can run my power through the unit as well since it's just a little neater, but also means I have more ports free if needed.Altogether a very nice little hub. I was tempted to go for the ones that rest right alongside the body, but I decided they actually don't look great and apparently are more annoying to plug in and out than a simple cable. I moved from an old Macbook recently with lots of ports, and was annoyed to lose them, but to be honest with this I don't really care already as it's so simple and small.

This would make it possible to connect device to two monitors, however hubs with this feature usually cost at least 3 times more than this hub so lack of this feature is understandable.ConclusionOverall, I find this hub to be very useful and practical. It comes a small form factor but it does not sacrifice on build quality and ports. It is one of the more expensive hubs but you do get a premium product. I would definitely recommend it.

I needed a USB C hub as my PC has a USB C port at the back and I needed a solution that could bring the power of USB C to my desktop to be used on multiple devices.This USB C UNI Hub is extremely well made and feels high quality. The rubberised outer cover provides great protection and if required can be removed to make the hub even more compact. This hub is a great size and fits in the pocket so you can take it anywhere.Specs: It has a USB C pass through for power, two USB 3.0 ([email protected]) up to 5 Gbit / s data transmission, one HDMI port supporting resolutions up to 4K@30Hz, 1 USB-C power supply port for up to 100 W charging only (though no data transfer is supported), one MicroSD and one SD card reader and they both support UHS-I and UHS-II to achieve speeds of up to 104 MB / s. Finally all ports can be used simultaneously.The hub does get a bit warm when multiple ports are in use but certainly not concerning as it is just a slight warming. I connected a host of devices including running a Hard Drive, my Sim Wheel and transferring data via the Micro SD card to my PC. The speeds for downloading are consistent and even running my wheel via the USB 3 port, there were no issues at all...One final point. The cable provided is very short, probably because of what it is supposed to connect to in Laptops but I did buy a USB C male to female extension cable as my PC which is a little way away from my desk. The extension cable worked perfectly and I saw no loss in data speed transmissions so it worked perfectly. Just something to take into account.Overall very impressed and I would recommend anyone to spend a little more on this UNI or other higher quality device then the cheaper USB C hubs out there..

I bought this because I wanted a a small and portable docking station in my office for my Lenovo Yoga laptop. It had everything I needed, plus the ability to plug in the laptops USB C PSU so that I only have one cable going into my laptop. Previously I had a very expensive Lenovo Dock, and it was useless, this at a fraction of the cost is excellent.As its so small it will also be very useful when I am travelling, its well made and robust so no worries there either. I will be buying another just for this reason. Another great product from UNI
