Super light and comfortable ! Fit perfectly, I am 5'5" and 140, it is the best summer mesh coat I have had for riding ! It is almost unnaturally light, which is great at 90 degrees :)

I ordered this based on reviews on Leatherup's site, which claim the jacket is true to size. I'm not sure how so many reviewers can feel that way though, because this definitely ran big on me. Yes, it has lots of straps and snaps to tighten the jacket to your waist, arms, and hips, and those work for cinching the fabric closer to your body, but they don't help to position the shoulder and elbow armor in the proper places. If I went down, the pads would not be where they needed to be to protect me. Wearing the jacket completely cinched up, the fabric of the jacket will fit, but the shoulder armor was resting against my upper arms, and the elbow armor only barely touched by elbows, resting mostly against my forearms. I used to work as a seamstress in a garment shop, so I know from measuring hundreds of women that my shoulders and arms are of average width and length. My proportions aren't petite by any way.From experience, I think this jacket was probably patterned directly from the men's version of this jacket (which looks identical) but given different sizing to be sold as women's clothing. The shoulders are way too wide to be tailored for a woman, and the chest and waist are also too roomy. You put this on and it reminds me of wearing a boyfriend's shirt or jacket.That all said, I like the style and construction of the jacket, even if the pattern isn't very good. For the price it's a good deal. I've exchanged it for a smaller size, and hope that one will fit better. I'll update this review when I get it.

I need to return this product because abrasive lining is used in sleeves which rubs the skin off elbows. Painful. Even if I wear long sleeves this still happens. Very disappointed.

i bought this because one it was super cheap compared to other jackets and that includes shipping costs and because i wanted something breathable. from the reviews i thought this would be a great first jacket.i bought a Medium i am 5'5 150 and have 36 chest size. the fit is a lil weird. at the waist the fitment is really tight but i can live with it. the shoulders are more roomy than i would like. the arms are also roomy but the wrists are pretty tight too. the elbow armor is pretty big for me, it almost reaches down to my wrist(guess i dont have very long arms).the Jacket is super light. after using it outside on a windy 50ish day i realized it lets more wind threw than i thought. nothing a light hoodie underneath couldn't fix. however this jacket will feeling amazing in the hotter weather.like i said for the price you can't go wrong. if you need something warmer either get a size you can fit a hoodie or zip up under or look elsewhere. overall satisfied.

Keeps you cool. I rode a 10,000 mile trip lately and wondered why I was so hot in my short sleeves and I saw all these other riders with what looked like winter coats on. They were wearing a mesh jacket like these. They protect you from the sun while allowing wind through. I have no other mesh jacket to compare it to, but I can't imagine a different jacket working better.I wear a tight climate cool shirt under it, and if it gets really hot, I wet a t-shirt, wring it out and put it on over the climate cool shirt. I actually feel cool at 90 degrees.Update 4/22/13 - Found another reason to like this jacket. Put a windbreaker/raincoat over it, and you good down to about 45 degrees. That means you wear this and carry a light windbreaker in your sadlebag, and your good from 45 to 95 degrees.

This is a great jacket! Good value, quality stitching, fits perfectly! I just wish there were more colors to choose from.

I tried on other more expensive coats. This is a great deal for the money .My issue with ladies jackets is getting them to fit my hips. I’m a 14 in jeans the jacket fits snug over my jeans, but not uncomfortable.

First, the product was delivered Fast!! This is one of my criteria for giving a good review.Second, the jacket itself is very well made for the price. The pads are up to specs. This is an excelent jacket for summer wear. The mesh is fully breathable while giving good enough protection against abrasion and minor impact. If worn during winter, I recomend wearing something warmer underneath like a pullover or a sweater.
