This boat was the worst thing that I ever had. Pure garbage!!!!

The boat was much larger than expected. The boat lasted only twenty minutes the first time out before the fully charged battery was dead in the water... excuse the pun. The boat was unresponsive the second time out and after spending an hour on the phone attempting to troubleshoot the product, we were left with the option for an exchange with expense out of pocket. We opted for a smaller, quicker and cheaper alternative boat from another vendor.

Nice large size works well, Replaced included battery with a higher quality / discharge Nimh and there was a noticeable speed increase. Looks like the props ride a little high and lose some power to cavitation. Range was improved after untangling the antenna from the wire bundle.The transmitter is the apparent weak point does not seem to hold a bind well.

Ran great, it was first time out. Very controllable and easy to drive right off the bat.

It was a gift, but they had to send it back because it didn't work. I hope the replacement, when it arrives, will work.As far as body type and size, he loved it.

Quick and easy to control. Included battery only lasts ten to fifteen minutes but that's easily remedied by purchasing a higher mAh battery.Although the boat included AA batteries for the remote they were nearly dead out of the box. This caused the controls to cut in and out. Replacing them with a fresh batch of high quality AA batteries solved the problem and the controls responded well. The boat was larger than I expected but it ended up being the perfect size for zooming around our roughly 1-acre lake.Summary: Large and fast. The boat is fun and works well but plan on replacing all of the included batteries.
