I bought this bulb to replace a burned out bulb in our fiber optic dual goose-neck surgery light. It works perfectly and is so much cheaper than buying it through the "science" vendors (about 10x cheaper!). Don't waste your money on those expensive light bulbs. These work fine. As for how long they last, I can't say yet, but it is so cheap, even if it lasts 50% as long as the other bulbs, it is absolutely worth it.

Bought for the lab bendable light for the dissecting microscope. The bulb works, and it has a pretty decent life compared to other bulbs in its class.

This is a high wattage light bulb that not every body needs it. I got it for my light source in the lab for a microscope. It's reaaly bright and meets my expectations. The wattage is 150 and the voltage is 12 DC. Thanks Amazon.com and appreciat the company as well.

As described, in use for over 1 year about 30 hrs.

bulb arrived broken, cracked. Could not be used. not worth the $8 to repackage, mail, and return. waste of time.

Used this to get a vintage film projector to work and then to digitise old 8mm film. Without this, it would have been impossible. Arrived quickly and at a reasonable price. Recommended

Bulb delivered well package and was a replacement for an illuminator for close up photography. My only complaint is the price. Very expensive compared to the 240v version. A bulb for 21v should not be several times the price.
