Nice tank bag
On a 2008 BMW F800st…It’s a well made bag. That’s for sure. The “universal fit” harness is familiar, and easy to install. The expansion zipper is nice.Although, I’d have put it more near the top of the bag.The lid is stiff!!And I gotta say, it doesn’t like to remain open when you’re going through the bag.The pockets on the lid are good for things like eyeglasses, phone, smokes, or whatever. The map pocket appears durable. And thankfully, it’s removable.(The sun reflects badly at particular times.)I haven’t needed the built-in back-pack straps, but I guess they’re a good idea. The shape-keeping panels are …ok.The panels should be able to be solidly attached. With “hook-and-loop”, or snaps or something. They just keep flattening out.I think it tries too hard to look all “swoopy” and aerodynamic.I’d rather it was just a rectangle, and that the outside pockets along the sides were larger. Function precedes form, guys! All that being said…It’s still a nice, well-constructed bag.It should last a long time, even if I just leave it on the bike.

Super Value, Nice Bag
Purchased for my 2022 BMW R1250 GS Adventure. Never having used a tank bag before, I wasn't sure it I would like it. Next to my panniers, it's one of the best add-ons I have purchased. After adjusting the straps, it has a snug fit with very little shifting. Holds all of my quick-grap essentials and easily moves out of the was for fill ups. Quality is great considering the price. My only quip is that the zippers are not as robust as I would hope, but they have held up so far. The installation instructions could have been a little more clear. I would definitely purchase again.

high quality and utility. I ride 100 miles a day commuting, so I need the tank bag.
It is used daily. I need gear that will hold up in daily use and year around. The brand is known for it's quality.

Great Tank Bag!
First off, let me say that I'm familiar with Cortech tank bags, as I have the Super 2.0 12-liter version on my 2005 Yamaha FZ6 and love it. I have been searching for a generous-sized tank bag for my 2012 BMW G650GS dual-sport for a year, without finding one that would stay on the tank without flapping around (I've tried at least a half-dozen of various brands). I finally decided to try the 18-liter Super 2.0 and it's a keeper. This is a large tank bag, both size-wise and by capacity, and is basically a 12-liter bag with an expansion zipper that opens it to 18-liter. The base, with the straps (I needed the strap version, as the BMW has a plastic "tank" that's actually the air-box where most bikes fuel tank is), covers the entire span from the bars to the front of the seat, with the last two inches under the seat. Having said that, this is a very secure mounting platform, with very little flopping from side to side as was the case with the other bags I tried. The bag attaches securely to the base pad with three quick-release clips, and has hidden stow-away backpack shoulder straps and a grab handle at the front so you can easily take it with you. The bag is very heavy duty, made of 1680 and 1800 denier material, with multitudinous storage pockets and two sip-tube/head-phone ports built in. The interior is lined with neoprene to protect your stuff, and a neoprene face shield pouch is included. The only weak point for me is the map case -- it's fairly good sized, but it's very difficult to get a map in there through the narrow opening under the front snap. A full-width opening would make this bag just about perfect. I highly recommend the Super 2.0 to anyone with a bike large enough to fit it.

Decent bag... Zipper Failing
I bought this magnetic tank bag last summer from a local motorcycle dealer and I use it on DL1000 V-Strom K6 I have taken it on many trips and total mileage with the bag is about 13,000 miles. I like the way the bag is setup inside and has pockets to organize my stuff. The rain cover is a plus and I like the fact I can put it in the leading edge pocket and not taking up room inside the main compartment. The rain cover did inflate sometime. I did cut a slit in the rain cover and pass the strap through to make sure it stays on during storms.(I used the carrying strap as a fail safe attachment point) The bag never moved while riding and was solid on the tank. Map compartment access is weird and small so I use it for my garage opener and a cheat sheet for my Bluetooth. I am looking for a replacement because the zipper is starting to fail on the left side and I need something I can count on for an upcoming trip to New Mexico and Colorado.Pro:- Good organization in main compartment- Rain Cover included and has convenient pocket for it- Solid mounting (magnets are very strong)Cons:- Bag zipper failing in less than a year (11 months)- Map Compartment design and access is just plain dumb- Rain cover fitting properly (This issue might only effect V-Strom's due to air flow around the fairing.)

Stays in place and does the job.
I bought this for my son's Star-Warrior. He uses it as a tail pack for extra glasses, wallet, a cloth for cleaning glasses, insurance/registration card, etc. The bike's paper work fits nicely in a pocket inside the cover; they could also go in the little zippered front pocket. Many rough and dirt roads here; it has not slipped, but he also uses a small black bungee through the top grommet (unseen in photos) and his backrest for extra security. The magnets are extremely secure. Be careful about where you put the bag when off the bike, and scratches should not be an issue. The side flaps fold nicely over the main section to protect the contact points when the bag is not in use. We have not tested the weatherproofing, but the docs are also in a zip-sealed sandwich bag. For someone with "minimalist" tastes, this bag is perfect. You hardly notice it. The map cover is attached at the top with a velcro flap, and a snap at the bottom; as a tail pack it is not necessary, on my daughter's EX250, the bag fits nicely as a tanker and the map cover might be a good spot for a gps.... My only concern is that the price tag for all these items is more than a tad unreasonable. It's small and does the job.

Arrived missing parts...
Only the bag arrived, the straps and base were missing so I am unable to fit it to my motorcycle at all. The bag looks great, would have been nice to use it on my trip but I guess I am sending it back bungee cording all my stuff to the bike now. Great.
