Lifesaver for hard to replace cables
These are one of the smartest inventions I’ve seen and are so inexpensive for what they do. I was anxious about the quality , but have had no issues with the connection and have been able to plug and unplug the cable without and fear of breaks.

It WORKS!
Been using them for about a month and they absolutely work. I had a few issues getting it to stay in the socket at first. But when i finally got it in and got it to stay in I have had zero problems! I am playing World of Warcraft with out having the cable fallout. I highly recommend this! I have uaeed just the ne but the other 4 are being kept safe just in case.

This actually solved a problem!!!
I cant give it 5 starts b/c you do have to push down on the arm on the clip in order to insert it into a number of RJ45 ports. Very little inconvenience. Once it is inserted, the clip is secured into the port and the cable works like it should. The clip is not friendly to some ethernet cables that come w/ a boot so you may have to do some cutting. After you take the boot off; the clip is easy to install, and problem solved!!! GREAT alternative to buying a RJ45 crimping tool which can be pricey depending on your budget. Also, you have to know what you are doing when crimping. This item avoids all of that. This here is genius at work.

Worked
Works great. You will need a razor blade or a knife to cut back the plastic sheeting to be able to get it to fit properly.

Cheap fix for broken RJ-45 computer cable ends.
More than one occasion the small clip tab on the computer cable end has been broken off inadvertently. These clips prevent you from spending more money on a new cable. The cables are a lot more expensive than a pack of these clips. They are not easy to install but when you get it right it works like a charm. I almost sent these back as they were not holding the cable in the port. BUT, I did not. I had installed them wrong and after studying the pictures I was able to figure out how to get it to hold correctly. The instructions do not help as they are almost non-existent. But these clips work. You just have to fiddle around with them until you get it right.

Good but not perfect
I have several cat5 enet cables that have broken terminator clips. They no longer lock in the port and can easily be pulled out. These were a less expensive than replacing the cables. They work just fine but in some cases I could not remove them from the socket! I had to use my needle nose pliers to get it out. Now I will only use them with cables I don’t have to plug and replug. Once they are in I can leave them plugged in and they work great for that!

An easy fix!
No more ethernet cable falling out of the port! :) These were just what I needed- a fast and durable replacement for a broken clip lock on the rj-45 ethernet cable. I just trimmed off a plastic piece on the rear of the broken plug and clipped on the new piece. It stays in place surprisingly well and appears to be a better plastic (polyethlyene=tough and resilient, like a water jug's plastic) as opposed to the brittle plastic used for the lock piece on all rj-45 male connectors (polystyrene perhaps?) I only needed one for now, so the better value vs the 50 pack. You can probably reuse them later also. You will likely not regret it!

Didnt work on 2 different cables
The Ethernet connector clasp breaking is the bane of my network maintenance. Probably over 50% of the problems I see are a connector coming loose because the latch was broken I was excited to try these from my broken cables but was quickly dissapointed. I tried these on a couple different cables and they would not grab the body to hold the connector up against the mating socket. Also even if successful with it holding on the body, the latch seems to big and an odd angle to properly connect and latch.
